Yeah, it was a bit on the short side. As far as lacking an epic feel goes, this is one of the few trailers that doesn't focus on large fleets or organizations (although it touched on the latter aspect briefly), which may explain that.

It is more focused on small gang or solo knife fighting, much like the main focus of the bounty system is. I think they wanted to make this one feel more like a personal grudge/vendetta story.

Previously they had a trailer depict how a single person could get revenge on a large organization. This one shows how a large organization can return the favor, using other individuals or small groups to do so.

I kind of like that.

Why? They're not even advertising it. It's not on their main page, neither is it on the main page of the PC section. I even searched EVE Online>Videos, and it's still not visible.

I don't know how someone on here managed to find it, but I'm glad they did as without the direct link I doubt the rest of us would have.

Edit: Just found it half way down the page tucked away under a bunch other junk. Ugh

The someone on here that managed to find it was a Dev that gave us the link. It would make sense for them to know the link once it's up, since they are devs and all.

IGN has it on their front page, a little down the page however, so it is advertised kind of. I would imagine CCP is getting some kind of reimbursement or favors of some sort for giving the exclusive, so good on them.

After the last two trailers were mostly just for the EVE community, I don't think it hurts to have a trailer that is understandable to a larger audience.

Also small gang warfare is not the worst thing to see in a trailer.

Very nice video CCP, I think it would help drive more excitement if you didn't release it the day before the patch came out though. In all fairness if CCP released the Trailer weeks in advance they may lose accounts due to:

New Player A. seeing trailer -> downloading client
New Player A. realises the trailer seen isn't live
New Player A. then has to patch the old client to the trailer expansion.
New Player A. receives a charge form the broadband company for going over the download limit.Evil

You don't see too many T1 frigs hot dropping large mining ops in Null.

This trailer makes no sense, I don't think the richest man in the universe became rich by placing 60bil isk bounty down every time a couple of retards in mining frigs died in his alliance, also if he is the richest in the universe, why doesn't he have a security division to deal with these kinds of things.
