On one hand it was pretty so props to that. However, I was left with a "Who the $%*& is this Vic guy and why does this narrator sound like Duke Nukem?" thought after.

Great advert but I hope we get a classic CCP goosebumps inducing trailer next time.

the way I see it is the trailer is not for us, that is, the established player base. It is obviously to attract new players to Eve, which I think it will do a very good job.

Okay, saw some widow getting ganked by a destroyer or two..

When was the trailer coming again?


First "trailer" ever that is just meh.. I'm a little bit disappointed.

It was short, way way too short, it has a terribad voiceover.

The "Punch line" is just.. bollywood bad.

That new vaga is damned sexy though, and I loved the drones coming out of that new Dessie <3


So yeah, bottom line, after all that hype that you guys did, about how about this trailer is sooo amazing.. Nope, it's not. Almost every single other trailer that you've made out there is so much better..

Yeah, not really fond of how they like to boost the volume to maximum for everything you watch there. Smile

I do think this one gets across the feeling of this patch fairly well, and gives a good sense of how dog eat dog the EvE universe is.

The video misses the part where Vic was just an alt that belongs to an NPC corp and he flies t1 frigs, so no one will bother blowing sec status going criminal to suicide gank him, to collect 20% of the value of a t1 frig.


In a few days, everyone in the game is likely to have a fat bounty on them, and be flying cheap ships to avoid the ganks.

It will be, "interesting" to see the unintended side-effects of the change.

Its pretty, but sadly lacking the epic feeling of most eve trailers and short. Also, the story for it makes me cringe.

in short, wtb russian version so I can watch it without the horrible storyline being understandable.

Since the trailer appears to take place in Null, there would be no need for him to use an NPC corp alt nor fly a T1 frig if he chose not to, although using a Widow is a bit overkill.

Wow, that actually sucked. First EVE trailer that really does, even Crucible's was much better. I hope this is because you put all your resources in the game and forgot about the trailer until just now.
