Not much difference between using the force and hacking the matrix.

But the Disney version will have a wisecracking sidekick, and break into song every 15 minutes.Lol

Actually it's the same artist as the Dark Knight Trilogy.

Not very imaginative there, imho.

Ahh yes. Oops

More coffee is clearly required.

OH FFS, 2 British actor/actresses as 'the bad guys'.

Well, I guess if you give the best dialogue to someone, it might as well be someone who speaks English :)

Americans will always use Brits as the bad guy as Brits sound like they are actually educated. We can't have such things in America anymore, doncha know ?

no Khan in this one, sorry.

Villian is Gary Mitchell (Gary Lockwood's character in 2nd OS Pilot).

Wrong on both counts.

AND the directors commentary even mentions Khan

go pro.

It says "rumored" by Khan's name, as that site is not exactly updated with current info.

A cast member let it slip by accident during a recent interview.

Next.

edit: Besides, Khan had an entire crew as we all know. And even official plot summaries only mention a "one man weapon of mass destruction".

Also, even in this Star trek Universe, they are not even in the part of space yet where Khan can even be found. It's still in their future. Mitchell would be about right.

The rumour is that it is about Khan, not the actor.

Listen to the directors commentary, right at the end; and you'll see/hear why.

And lest us not forget who's paying for the movie - not you or I; making any cannon null/void and open to plunder at will.

Not too hard to say the events of the first film meant a ship had to change course 25 years ago and ran into Khan. See? one sentence is all it takes for them to write whatever the hell they want.

The ABBA albums here in America had different releases thatn in Europe. We had no album called "Ring Ring" for example.

Regardless, that leaves either "Money Money Money" or "The Eagle", and I'm just not sure of your reference.

"STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS – Approved Synopsis 11/26/12

In Summer 2013, pioneering director J.J. Abrams will deliver an explosive action thriller that takes Star Trek Into Darkness.

When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis.

With a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction.

As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew."

Sounds more like someone with "supernatural" powers, of which Khan had none. And he most definitely was not a member of starfleet, in this universe or the other one.

Would make sense that it's Khan. I do hope they have a younger clone of Montalban to play him though. Dat chest <3

Admittedly blokes always seem smarter because of the accent. 5 minutes or more with said bloke reveals otherwise, though I spare myself the trouble and simply look at how the UK is managed.
