CCP - Please give us the option to disable those damn space particles that shoot across the screen while in space. They are very anoying and distracting.Evil

Can't do that. You haven't heard? All those space particles are the tears of Goonswarm victims - miners, freighter pilots, and the like. CCP can't just remove player-created content.

I hate the damn white clouds that drop my fps whenever they are on the screen.

The Gas Clouds at mission sites severely drop my Framerate. I hate it.

Funnily enough, I've met quite a few physicists that have something very similar, even though their special lab building is supposed to help.

CCP (insert dev name here) said something about the rejigging of gas clouds for retribution or at least said that they were taking a look at them. So Soon™

Agreed, gas clouds are worse. When they load, I first get some bounding box, then the texture pops in and the framerate drops by more then 75%. It's actually worse then Unreal engine texture popup, which is saying something.

Nothing wrong with gas clouds. Maybe the complainers should buy themselves a better video card for Christmas?

Hells yes. Friggin gas clouds.

I have an nvidia geforce GT 650M. I get 45fps at any other time, except for those gas clouds.

I like to lick things.

Haunting the forums since 03.

Yup everybody is like you, with PC as the main interest as home and a lot of money to put in.

For the others clouds clearly ARE an optimization disaster but it seems it is way better in Retribution.

THIS.

But there was a DevBlog recently where this issue has been addressed for Retribution.

Your nightmare clouds will be much more pleasant as of tomorrow.

You must be bored and just randomly chosen some small insignificant thing to complain about. Please select another higher priority annoying thing to complain about as to be completely threadworthy. Thanks.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Those are velocity dots. For you to know in what direction your ship is heading. Sometimes sideways, away from ice field. Cool
