Since Shalee seems intent on having me visit here frequently, and largely because I enjoy doing so:

A lot of the other guys have given pretty good testimonials. I don't know, personally, what it is like to join I.LAW. I only know how I set out to make it for those that do. Shalee, Almity, and I have had a lot of talks about the sort of things that we want I.LAW to be. In these talks, one common theme is: atmosphere.

So, on that note, here is my plug on atmosphere.

We try to keep I.LAW the sort of corp we would want to join. I've been in a corp of RL friends before (as CEO, no less), a couple of null-sec hegemony alliances (Morsus Mihi, TNT, Night's Dawn, Liberty.). I have been solo (including a hilarious stint of piracy and a trek to the eve gate sans ship b/c I lost every asset I had). I came to FW after two or three years of playing EVE because I wanted something different and FW had always interested me. So, I joined the corp KotMC where i met Shalee and Almity and much fun and shenanigans were had. But, KotMC had issues, and key to them, in my mind, was a lack of a certain atmosphere that was inclusive and genuinely centered on fun. When KotMC sorta dissolved, Shalee and some others offered me a spot as a director in this new corp called I.LAW. I had the awesome experience of helping to build something from the ground up.

Flash to the present: One of the major goals I had was to have a corp that was fun to be in. I wanted there to be a community to it. I wanted people to think of the other corp members as part of the same group of friends or club members or whatever. A good organization has a "feel" to it. A warmth. A life of its own. When someone says the name I.LAW, it should evoke a certain image in one's mind. So far, the image seems to be the one we tried for.

So, bringing this back to the point of trying to talk you into joining our merry little band, and perhaps enjoying the joy of hearing of the time I was molested by a llama or any number of rather silly tales from my many troubled relationships or Navy port visits, I will simply say this:

If you are looking for a corp where you can ask a question and get an answer and not feel like an idiot...

If you are looking for a corp where you can learn to pvp like a fiend...

If you are looking for a group of cool peeps that can sit and shoot the shizz...

If you are looking for a corp to try out FW...

If you are looking for a corp with a pretty stellar combat record...

Then, well, you're on the right page.

My FW alt (Matari) has fought against them, and I can say it was a blast. Good bunch of folks, even when pointing a gun at you.

A good bunch of lads if you're interested in FW (some PVE, mostly PVP). Virtually no blobs like nullsec, and no reason to go more than 5-10 jumps to find a fight.
