Here you guys go sorry it took so long. I do say its one of my better ships I've designed and painted so far. Was working on a new layering and lighting techniques and just couldnt get it right about 12 tries. Overall I think i spent too long around 26hrs on it. My usual is 4 hours from sketch to full color. As usual open to new ideas for ships until then I think ill start getting reclimation ships and the hypernet ships built next.

Basically being the tier 2 for the super battleship class able to lay down the smackdown by being a mini dread, main roles would be anti battleship and anti capitol ship and stationary. No drones, thick built in tank with not much to expand with in that department thus its a fleet ship. If caught alone a speed battleship would be able to solo it or two conventional battleships may be a close match.

According to the art developer blogs they wanted to move twoards the style that tech three ships have established, so it was indeed inspired by the proteus. I just have to redisgn the entire font end to support the capitol turret which the original sketch didnt have I belive.

Always good work. And nice to see your artwork has improved alot.

I still wish your exploration class ships made it into the game.

I'm working on the exploration ships (actually survey for archeology they just happen to be good probers) distance cousins the hypernet (hacker) and reclaimers (salvagers).

Well I had to design the entire thing after a shock asorbers as well.
