Ive been away from eve for about 8 months or so... mostly because my computer decided that it, in fact, didn't like playing games at all and gave me the windows version of the middle finger (BSODs like mad)...

But Im noticing coming back and reading forums that CCP peoples seem to talk and comment (even joke) a whole hell of a lot more than they used to... not that that is a problem by any means. I appreciate it... alot... I love how on the fiction forum CCP devs talking about lore and explaining things.

Is it just me? or has anyone else noticed?

CCP got some new dudes and they comminicate alot, which affects the other devs aswell. Not to mension the community dudes who are very present: Falcon and Eterne.

Don't be scared, because being afk is not a crime.

Hmm perhaps you are reading different threads to me? I don't really see much CCP interaction barring the 1st post of a dev thread or a message to say some posts have been removed because of trolling. There are a few around but the operative word here is few.

well in the general discussion forum, of the 26 non-sticky threads on page 1, 7 have CCP posts that are not administrative in nature. pretty high count i think.

Possibly because crunch time has been crunched and they have more free time?

CCP are always on a bit of a high immediately before an expansion, also they have to show a bit more interest these days in case they get totally caught out by not being in touch with their playerbase again.

They hired people to talk to us because the ones that code are too busy doing work to talk all the time... Except for punkturis, I think she has seven dwarfs who mine code for her.
