Judging by the pace with which he's ploughed through the frigates and cruisers, I wouldn't be too complacent if I were you.

from where i sit, the most likely scenario is that they come around to fixing battleship hulls by this time next year. which is plenty of time to wtfroflpwn and cross-train for nightmare or whatever is going to be the fotm after the mach nerf is announced.

For those who jump into the Mach, consider branching toward Vargur along the way. The Varg probably won't get hit by the nerf bat as hard as the Mach probably will and they're already somewhat comparable.

As for the OP, I contend that for PVE, the HML Tengu will likely remain the way to roll. HAMs will be a fine option though and help in those instances where the NPC want to get right on top of you.
