In-Game Events and Gatherings

As The Obsidian Front turned 3 years on november 12th 2012 we wana selebrate with everyone interested in form of a mixed PVP and Mining tournament.

Tournament will be in Metropolis
Meetup will be Hek, Arena will be in another 0.5 system.
Saturday 1st of December
at 15:00 EVE and forward

Rules:

A team consist of two members from same corporation

• Each member have to use rookie ships with T1 mods only.
• No named mods
• No faction mods
• No faction ammo
• No ECM

The Arena will consist of two cans for warp in, this will be the teams unload cans, with an asteroid belt in the middle.

Before tournament start each team will be scanned and then jettison a can with two item in. Each team warp to each others cans and steal one item, and become a valid target for the oponent. Once both teams are valid targets, a count will be made and each team warp to the astroid belt.

Each team will have 5 min. to mine as much Velds as posible. Its allowed to steal from each other and blow each other up, but the winner will be those who mine the most when the clock stops.

Each team has to unload their cargo to the anchored can assiged to them, Each team's can will have the same password so it's allowed (and encouraged) to try and steal from the other team's can.

If you lose a ship, you're allowed to get another rookie ship in near by station.

Its not allowed to leave the belt if your are in a ship.
If you lose a ship its allowed to dock up and get another rookie ship.

Its not allowed to warp on grid.

The 6 Teams who mine the most will get into the semi finals, where they will compete.
If two teams mine the exact ammount of Velds and rematch will be done.

• 1st prize will receive a Faction Cruiser of Choice + a set of +4 Implants
• 2nd prize will receive a Faction Frigate of Choice + a set of +3 Implants
• 3rd prize will receive a set of +3 Implants

All teams have to be able to use teamspeak (No mic needed), and will join The Obsidian Fronts teamspeak server
All teams have to join in same fleet with no boost.

Please respond here if you wana sign up, so we have an estimate of how many teams will be joining.
Be creative and name your Team - ex. Team Rustyballs from Nisroc Angels
Most creative Teamname will be well awarded to while the tournament are going.
