I just want to write a thanx to all those involved in this great New Eden Open!

First of all a thank you to CCP and the tournament sponsors. Own3d, Razer and CCP; this tournament was a real joy and a privilege to compete in, I hope it has been a success and I really look forward to the next one. The Goggles will be coming out again!

A big thank you to Blink for sponsoring each team in this tournament, I am sure without that generous donation there would have been less excitement for sure.

I would also like to thank DJ Dan and DJ Bobby on Eve-Radio for hosting me on their shows for 2 Saturday nights! It was great fun, you guys really helped publicise this wonderful tournament and I hope some of my pvp advice was useful for your listeners.

I would like to thank Monocle Madness for being an awesome betting site that supports the tournament fully and inspired us to bring the poor man's monocles, the goggles!

I would like to thank Wunder bet, for hosting the Team Spotlight interviews in association with Arydanika and her Voices from the Void podcasts! You are a great new betting site, and Arydanika is just pure awesomeness!

This tournament has been fantastic for everyone involved on my team and we have enjoyed every minute, even loosing the Cambion!

The best of 3 for third place was such a great thing, rather than just awarding it based on match points from the semi finals, it was thrilling to come back today and fight for our lives again to attain third place!

Also I would like to thank my team for sticking by me through all the hard trainings and prep work, it all payed off in the end and we are on the podium:)

If you have enjoyed our matches, enjoyed our aggressive tactics and want some of that action, we specialise in small gang style warfare in eve, and our public channel is "Mind Games Public" so hit us up and say hi, troll us, ask for advice, anything! We are always looking for enthusiastic pilots who just wanna have fun, win fights and learn how to be better in PVP better!

And finally, a thank you to my team, without you guys, we would be nothing:

Thank you Seldarine for heading up another great team mate. I would like to thank all the fans and all the donations we received as a smaller team with limited resources it was great to see the entire eve community back the goggles of justice.

An absolutely amazing tournament these past 3 weeks. I hope to god we see it happen again, and hopefully with a bigger cash prize. At least I can treat me and my girlfriend to a chinese, £43 GET IN SON!

The last 4 teams in the tournament all did a great job, put up a really tough show, and really showcased some epic piloting skill. Great work everyone, see you next time.

Being one of the few Non Suddenly guys on the team, I am extremely grateful for them letting me fly with them.

Was a fantastic tournament, some amazing setups and teams, some pretty amazing ships lost too!

I welcome CCP's move into this kind of format and hope to see many more tournaments as such. We get to showcase the best there is to offer in eve.

Finally, A thank you to Seldarine and DHB Wildcat, both of whom worked hard to get us as far as we did.

Great job fellas. It takes hard work and determination to get to the finals, which the Goggle crew demonstrated.

Yes I will be buying my girlfriend a housecoat with the winnings for Christmas now (only reason she didn't kill me for dedicating the time to training and participation).

All in all amazingly good fun. Hope there are many more of these tournaments!

THANK YOU GUYS! It is truly you, the participants, that made this the event it turned out to be. You have little idea how happy it makes me to know that you enjoyed the tournament. When you work hard at something for 3 months and see it work out well and you know that people enjoy it, there isn't a feeling like it.

I am looking forward to seeing you in future tournaments :)

Seldarine you are such a chill guy. You, sir, are a true advocate of eSports within EVE and we will work with you, and people with your vision, to create an eSports environment which challenges pilots and rewards as many people as possible with cash, PLEX, cool ships and much more. We are grateful for having great friedns at own3D and Razer who contributed so much to making this tournament a great success.

This tournament was much greater than I ever imagined. CCP Bro put on a hell of a show and it is great to work directly with people like him. CCP Soundwave, along with CCP Fozzie, CCP Dolan and CCP Falcon were excellent commentators. CCP Veritas overhauled the UI once again to make it much more engaging for viewers and CCP Sreegs acted as a top notch referee.

In addition to this we had CCP Phantom handling news, competitions and social media. CCP Gargant, CCP Eterne, GM Grave, GM Moustache, GM Nevermore and GM Stinger kept a steady hand on the cameras. CCP FoxFour handled all of the streaming and chat on the live stream. CCP Sunset held interviews with CCP karkur, CCP Masheen, CCP Greyscale and CCP Arrow. CCP Affinity handled all make up on set.

Last, but certainly not least, were CCP Alice who managed set design and web services along with CCP Delegate Zero.

Actually, definitely last but most certainly not least were our amazing players and viewers. You guys make doing these tournaments a pure joy and we look forward to bringing you more and more events in the future.

Well I guess I better join the thanks train too.... lol 8)

But seriously to all involved.... thank you very much. PVP in EVE has become soemthing that is no longer fun for me. You cannot get an even fight anymore no matter how hard you try. I actually do not play the game much at all anymore except for tourney's.

Here you cant run
you cant hide
you cant call 2000 friends to help you,
and noone wants to! Everyone here is as BLOOD THIRSTY (lol see what I did there 8P) as I am. Thank you so much for giving me a chance to fly a 40 billion isk ship into what will be the most exciting fight that that ship could have ever possibly seen! Thank you so much for letting me put my skill and our teams skill up against some of the best people in the game.

I wish this was like this all the time, but we all know about capital ships and fleets fights of stupid 8 to 1 odds. But this is not a time for me to get into this.

So thank you, truely from the bottom of my heart for giving us a gladiator style fighting system. Reminds me of the game from the early years 8).

Finally, thank you seld. This team would be nothing without you. You are the man. And thank you to the rest of my teammates and to our opponents for everything. You all rock, except you godfathers you suck 8P. jk.

Great post Seldarine, great job placing in the tournament, I was rooting for ya the whole time. Hope to face off against you again on the battlefield next time. Don't worry I won't bring the nightmares again :P. Though prop mods would not have made a difference at all.

And thank you CCP for allowing lowly peons like me to be able to compete in this awesome tournament.

I actually just watched all of the tournament over my holiday break as I wasn't able to watch it live. ATX was the first tournament I've seen, and in many ways it really solidified my desire to play eve as my main video game. I have almost zero complaints about both ATX and NEO, I absolutely loved both. NEO was in many ways an improvement though a bummer to not be able to watch live and somewhat of a bummer to come right before an expansion when many of the main tourny setups would be significantly altered. The only real letdown of the NEO tournament in my opinion was the ending. I didn't really care for the "death match" rules at the end, as they felt ad hoc. And as cool as the new formats were (no group stages, banning ships) I don't feel like they were overall better than the AT rules (group stages are pretty cool IMO) though maybe in the next NEO they will work better since players will have had more time to prepare and there will be new tournament ship compositions. Thanks to everyone involved for such a great show and I can't wait until AT11!
