How much ISK have you reserved for the bounty changes?

As you are probably aware, with the changes to the bounty system you will be able to put a bounty on anyone, anywhere.

Personally, I have reserved 10 billion isk to put bounties on miners, hoping to encourage gankers to have a shot at them.
How much ISK have you reserved, and for what purpose?

Update in post #90 with the results from the first bounties placed!

I was unsure if current bounties would be lost forever, returned or transferred onto the new system so I started putting small volumes on potential bp targets in ORE space

If only there was some sort of platform the devs could use to inform people of changes in advance.

I'm confused. Didn't you use to be able to put bounties on anyone, anyways? Pod them, get paid. Bounty high enough, pod self with alt or corpie, get paid.

Now the bounty pays based on the price of the ship you're flying, so much less paid. Still no kill rights, still have to be high sec ganked. Now gankers get paid 10% more than they did before. *shrug* That's assuming the corp doesn't take the day to have alts blow them up in frigs/cruisers a few times to collect all the cash. 10% more is usually bigger than the profit margin between buy price and insurance payout for T1 hulls.

Care to clear up my confusion?

The problem with defending the purity of the English language is that English is about as pure as a cribhouse [lady of commercial virtue]. We don't just borrow words; on occasion, English has pursued other languages down alleyways to beat them unconscious and rifle their pockets for new vocabulary.- James Nicoll

None. The loot inside a freighter is my bounty.

Problems with the system CCP is implementing were brought up by the CSM. As per usual CCP ignored those concerns completely & went with their own idea which will undoubtedly need fixing, just like FW.

I'm thinking of investing in a freighter full of catalysts to hand out for a large scale high-sec ganking tournament. Maybe there could be an ISK prize for the winner.

ONE MILLION DOLLARS!

Seriously? No one?

Throw Me a Frickin' Bone Here!

How about... One Hundred, BILLION, dollars!

Play EvE how you want to play it and do not let others dictate how you play. Evolve your playstyle to protect yourself from others! Even in "PVE", "PVP" is there, lurking in the shadows.

Max insurance on a ship costs 30% of the max payout iirc, so blowing up your own ships for insurance will still cost you 10% of the total bounty. So basically you pay the bounty to have the person/corp your placing it on to have to pay 10% of what you pay. That is if they are willing to pay that 10%, instead of just taking the risk of flying with a bounty.

You dont' necessarily have to be hi-sec ganked though. IF someone wardecs you they can shoot you without a guaranteed ship loss. If they are lucky enough they can buy your killrights as well.

Yes, a large-scale high-sec ganking tournament. What a novel idea. You could probably call it "Skiffageddon" or something...
