you could have just copied the client to a different folder and changed the server url in the shortcut and run the updater... just sayin :D

Not even the repair tool was able to fix it, so a fresh install was required

May I ask you both TQ and Buckingham addresses please? -I'm actually trying to get rid of these pesky freezes with win8 64 pro and after a few tests not leading to any changes (AV/FW exceptions rules seem to stick only to process it self and not creating automatic exception for http/s communications with in the process), I want to test fix the server address on my AV so it doesn't scan the communications and see if it fixes my issue.
