Dont you have to have a sec of -1 or lower to have a bounty put on you? Is that changing? And transference of killrights is just fine, means the weak can hire the strong to take down the people who gank you.

You can bounty anyone now.
You can make a alt and just bounty the whole rookie chat with the minimum bounty amount.

People actually need to pay their ISK to place a bounty. That means they will think twice and not toss bounties like mad. I think the system will be just fine.

OK, just read up on that, my bad. But still, doesn't mean anyone can shoot you unless you are in lowsec, nullsec, WH or have a killright active on you...

This wont cause carnage in hisec or anything.

Trust me, I almost know what I'm doing.

This just give stupid look, its not realistic, because in real world even in virtual world in meny games here is balance betwen neutral, good and bad people...

Ps. No personal atack please... its only my opinion, i know that CCP love pvp, wars, ship explosions, they love when New Eden is full of fire and when isk are destroyed, and this is main goal, to give EvE war look so much as possible (im not against this) but form other perspective this is anty santbox, its like one mind community with same behaviour using by every player.

Idividualist in EvE, no more...

You just made the first bounty on my list for this epic opinion.

No, actually, it won't

I see lots of people who have failed to read the dev blogs where it is quite clearly pointed out that bounties =/= kill rights.

Yet another expansion where the bears spend months bouncing around with joy thinking the bad people are going to suffer only to realise days before it hits that the pirates have already adapted.

It's almost as if it helped to read up on things in advance and adapt there and then rather than wait until it hit TQ and then wait until you saw it yourself and then wait until the forum threads go nowhere… P

If you're serious about living in high sec you have to be as familiar with mechanics as any ganker.

Still remember the great feeling of relief when i first wandered into null and scooped loot all over the place, no aggro, no cops. Such a quiet, peaceful place, if you keep your wits about you.

High sec is full of neutrals any one of which could turn out to be a violent clown, place gives me the all-over fidgets.

Remember that you're playing in a virtual dystoptia that literally lives and thrives on destruction. There are no "good" or "neutral" people. Only people here who are either directly or indirectly involved in warfare.

Scare mongering at its finest. So where is the ISK to bounty everyone going to come from?

I need to start making a list of everyone who posts terrible whining threads about the new bounty system and put bounties on their heads as soon as I finish patching on Tuesday.

Hi all, i woke up while ago, thank you all for replays, even in some cases filed with trolling, fantasy etc, a replays is always good to see :)

Meny of you wrote like im afraid of bounty on my head, or im afraid to lose ship-pod because bounty make me bad look... Some of you mention about carebears it self or sugest im carebear etc, some of you wrote that i whine alot etc, im not afraid to got bounty on me or lose some asets , i dont care about my self, but i care that bounty on my and your head make us exact same character like other, and in my opinion this give wired characters look in general, its not about only bad look , try imagine all humans in Earth become a zombe with not opponent to fight ( healthy people) and vice versa- very bored vision for zombe movies industry... i hope some of you finaly got this point...

Im not pure carebear, since 2006 i do meny things in game, i was pirate, carebear ,miner , explorer, i do pvp on occasion i got 500 kills, and like 174 loses, 91bil isk destroyed and around 11bil isk loses during pvp, included my main and alts, not so impersive statistic but at last finaly you see im not afraid to lose my shiny hulk or freigter due to bounty on me...

EvE isn't game, its style of living.

Personally, I don't believe any of this will happen. Though I will lose all respect for Goons if they don't spend their entire fortune putting bounties on everyone in hi-sec.

The only "good thing" I can see coming from a bounty system? It gives a player leaving the game a tool to leave a big far "Frack You!" to whoever they disliked in the game the most. Instead of just biomassing, sell all assets, sell character, and then use the alt to put all of that ISK as the bounty on the guy you don't like. It's what I'll probably do eventually.
