Hello there,

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a skill plan, my ultimate goal is to be a pirate. Also do any of yall have any recommendations for ships and/or ship setups for missioning for a while and getting into incursions/FW and PVP?

Train the core and combat career certificates, by the time you're done with them you should have a good idea what you want to fly and how, and plan your training accordingly.
A kiting setup for general missions is one of your choices, it has long range weapons and an afterburner/Microwarpdrive.
For Incursions, it's mostly about DPS and logistics.
If you want to learn PVP and piracy, I suggest you join a suitable pirate corp ASAP.

Missioning Ships:
As you are caldari:
Level 1 missions - Kestrel
Level 2 missions - Caracal

By level 3 missions you should be into battlecruisers, the Drake is the obvious choice as it uses missiles.
For level 4 you can use a well fitted drake, or go for the Raven Battleship, again, missiles

Ships for pirating, start in tech I frigates, the common choices are:
Rifter - Minmatar
Punisher - Amarr
Incursus - Gallente
Kestrel / Merlin - Caldari

The "best" two are arguably the Rifter and the Punisher, but people do just as well in the other options
Have a look on the battleclinic site for setups and ideas on your pirate ship of choice.

Have a look at the eve wiki Piracy Guide as a starter.

For an idea of what tech I frigates can do in the hands of a new(ish) player Punisher Plan. They started with punishers and learn the craft of piracy / low sec combat

As a note, if your source of income is missions then as a pirate you will quickly drop to a low security status that will not let you into high sec space. Which means you will need to do missions in low sec, which means you expose yourself to other pirates who will try to blow you up when you are mission running.
