So today I bought a new Saiga (the .410 as I love shooting and it's cheaper than shooting those damn 12 gauge shotguns) and I had to stand around waiting for like 5 minutes till I could take it. Damn hippies and their stupid influence Evil

You evil gun activist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG!!!! THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!! CRIME WILL rise bcz of u! You create hatred in the world ... evil!!!!!! Arghhhh!!!!!

Hmmm ... my only recommendation is you add some AR-15 like safety mods + lever for extended familiarity. You can truly tune that piece of equipment!

Also u evil btw! ... Big smile

that's only in 3 weeks because I figured there'd be a 20 day waiting period like in California

I like knives, I don't know this for sure, but it always seemed to me that a blade cutting through your flesh would cause more psychological duress than a bullet hitting you, of course i might feel differently with a gun in my face, but at that point, i'd probably just try to bite off a nose or part of their lip. Fighting is mental, destroy the mind and the body can't fight back. I don't like guns, people already have too many of their own ideas embedded subconsciously in relation to guns, but show me a mind thats prepared to process and quickly handle their nose getting bit off, and i'll show you a man with no need for a gun.

all I wanted was a Mateba Grifone, but in my country you can only have 6.35 guns, and the .454 Casull monster is considered "war weapon"Sad

6.35? That is 0.22LR if I remember right. You could buy a Walther PP or some other Walther (PPK?) in 0.22LR and do the James Bond thing...

If it kicks as much as it does in GRFS, you'll have a fun time hitting things at full auto Smile, it's a close quarters rifle if i ever saw one

Edit: hmm that does'nt look like the auto shotgun

Ahh guns, not available to the general population in the UK, well not without jumping through blazing hoops of fire, having fisticuffs with bureaucracy and even then you're restricted to pretty much peashooters.

I grew up on military bases, was using the range as a child with a .22, progressed onto the military stuff like the Bren and the L1A1 as a teenager in the cadets. I used to shoot competitively with a .303 Lee Enfield SMLE and had a firearms licence up until some muppet decided he was going to wipe out a load of school kids in Scotland. After that it became nigh on impossible to renew a firearms licence without showing good cause, all handguns became illegal and a rifle that was factory modified with a cheek rest and a 3.5x telescopic sight was most definitley a big nono, I still have the rifle, it had to be deactivated (sacrilege for a rare gun), because it became classified as a military specification firearm, even though the last time the .303 with that spec was used in warfare was probably the Korean War. Sad

In the beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

You can buy SAIGAs in the UK. My favorite forum has quite a few British AK/saiga owners..

I own a fully converted x39 personally. Works great at hog hunting but sometimes I wish I had a 308 model or a vepr x51 for those shots past 150 yards.
