I too would like to know what size the download will be .

My connection isn't the fastest and I need to plan for a skill training queue of appropriate length .

Thank you .

This will be a major pain in the posterior, not a feature.

Please give us an option to have the safety status persistent or reset in the settings in Retribution 1.01

The new sound features are not mentioned in the patch notes even in the slightest.. why. The weapon sounds I understand they need more work but there is more sound features than the weapon sounds.

Yay for once we have more than 24hrs notice of the start time of the extended downtime. (CCP has always released the Date ahead of time, but have previously failed to give more that 24hrs notice of the start time)

This time I will remember to change skills after the previous DT, and not try and leave it for changing just before normal DT.(living at GMT+10, DT is at 9PM normally, and I don't normally get home from work till 7PM, given that the Expansion DTs seem to start early I fail to get the 2hr window that I would normally get in order to change skils)

What this guy said. It's inexcusable that not only is there no persistence, but the default option is the most invasive and restrictive.

I'm disappointed in 1. the lack of dueling mechanic for starting ad-hoc limited engagements and 2. the nerfing of the sensor strength skills... but for the most part this looks like quite a solid offering, good work and good luck CCP.

In the patchnotes is a serious typo I'd say:

Exequror:
Amarr Cruiser bonuses: -5% remote armor repair system capacitor use and +12.5% remote armor repair system amount per level

Scythe:
Caldari Cruiser bonuses: -5% shield transfer capacitor use and +12.5% shield transfer repair amount per level

Please let it only be in the patchnotes and not on tranq.

I don't see what's wrong with it.
EDIT: Nevermind, lol. I wasn't looking at the ship names.

(Post requested by CCP Explorer on Twitter)

In the patch notes, the following paragraph appears under FEATURES: Crimewatch: Security Status.
Quote:
The penalty is now applied for any aggressive action that results in a Criminal or Suspect flag at the point that the first action occurs. (Previously a small penalty was applied upon the initial action, and then a larger penalty if the victim was killed without retaliation).

This paragraph implies that all SUSPECT actions will incur a penalty, but according to a chart published in a dev blog by CCP Masterplan, some SUSPECT actions do not, in fact, incur such a penalty.

(Also why the circlular targets again? They were removed last time we had them - I don't know why, but reinstating a removed feature that nobody has asked for seems like a bad idea. Square targets fit much better - text and active module icons align better, the target picture doesn't feel like it's being cropped, and they match the overview and other commonly-nearby windows better.)

(That last part was NOT requested by Explorer.)

Edit: it also states that the caracal will have 5% less missile velocity per skill level, which is hopefully a derp

Please let this be (yet another of many in blog) typo, this was very much NOT what was previously announced, rather we were supposed to be getting a heavily modified/toned down version of that ai.

I recall reading in one of the many blogs so far that jb is getting the boot because it was considered needless code to maintain since hardly anyone actually used it, due largely to the huge superiority of various free media players available. I also hazily recall there may or may not be plans or already have happened that the ig music tracks would be available to d/l from someplace for those that wanted to play them as they saw fit.

Also, there's loads of typos throughout the patch notes, some minor derps but others as mentioned by people in these comments that are quite spectacular, CCP please invest in some proofreaders and actually have them check stuff before you post it, there is also some silly and quite blatant repetition that looks like someone had a copypastadisaster.

Blockade Runners are now immune to cargo scanners.

Are you sure you didn't got your Deep space transports and Blockade runners mixed up, it happens.

Blockade runners can fit covert ops cloak, which is very handy to avoid schip scanners, why the extra immunity ?

(you can't cloak exiting the station but that is why you have a bookmark of the station, for insta warp)

If the cargo scanning immunity is supposed to be on Deep space transports, I won't blame you for mixing them up, it happens.

The names of scooped corpses are now displayed in all inventory locations.

Thanks very much for this, since a year it's been broken, hope it will also fix the linking of corpse in say (local) chat channels Bear

Loyalty Point Store • After hearing numerous cries of despair from our playerbase etc

Hope you don't forget about the non existant LP store for Interbus, just some basic stuff to buy for loyalty points would be nice (with nothing to do with any standing changes towards the empires ofc)

Eve online is :

A) mining simulator B) glorified chatroom C) spreadsheets online

D) CCP Games Pay to Win at skill leveling, with instant gratification

There was another thread about this, they affirmed it's meant for blockade runners and not DSTs.
