Issues, Workarounds & Localization

You know that feeling when 1 billion of your assets randomly disappears?

I'm writing this to just generally ask if anyone knows of a workaround for this issue. I have already filed a reimbursement petition, but since that could take a week or so, I figured I might as well ask other people about this.

The problem:
I had some blueprints locked in an audit log container. I unlocked these blueprints, and moved them into my corp hangar. When I right clicked on another item in my corp hangar, a menu flashed for a split second and all of my blueprints disappeared. They are not in a container, another division, my hangar, my ships, anything. I am not using any filters, and I am a director in the corporation. The only way to view them is by searching for them in the corp management window:

Notice how, when I right click on them there, I do not have the normal options, but I do have the option to 'Lock Item'. This suggests that the database still thinks they are in a container, but of course, since the search does not search through the contents of containers, this also makes no sense.

Any suggestions, thoughts, feelings, similar experiences, points of interest...?
