...is now worth training to 5. Patch notes:

Quote:
The Afterburner skill has been changed to now reduce duration by 5% (as opposed to increase by 10%) and reduces capacitor usage by 10% per level.

This sounds better but is it a net increase in afterburner cap cost?

current: AB V, Fuel Conservation V
cap / duration = 50% cap / 150% duration = .5 / 1.5 = .3333 = 33.3% cap /duration

new: AB V, Fuel Conservation V
cap / duration = (50% * 50%) cap / 75% duration = .25 /.75 = .333 = 33.3% cap /duration.

No difference.

edit: typo'd something.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

It's basically a Quality of Life Buff and a minor buff to Neuts, If you're running Dual Prop you don't need to wait so long for the AB Cycle to end before you kick in the MWD. At least... That's the only real reason i can see for it.

It means you're committed to an AB cycle for half as long. So good for dual prop, oversized ABs, and any time you want to kill one to align out.

This will help some of the ships get into warp easier.

I could be wrong but won't this be a nerf for overheating the module. Now won't the module cycle twice as fast and thus burn out twice as fast when overheated or am I mistaken?

AB orca will finally work leaving rigs and lows free from PG upgrades needed to fit mwd.

Now the 100MN AB tengu isn't quite as rediculous...
