How long does it take for petition to get answered?

Waiting 5 days already. What's up CCP. I thought account petitions were priority.

The petition system is actually antiproportionally linked to the amount of forum posts containing the word "petition".

Basically some will be answered within a few minutes while others can take anywhere up to 2 or 3 weeks, depending on the type of petition filed.

The longest I ever waited was three weeks.

On average though, they've usually been answered within a couple of hours to a day or so... It depends on the category though, and how much digging they need to do to find your answer.

While billing and account petitions have a special priority they are the longest ones to get responses from due to lots of time spent digging in back logs and doing research regarding validity of information and such. In the cases of billing issues they probably have to wait for responses from their bank.

Thanks that answers the bulk of my questions. Two that remains though, the reimbursement policy states:

"All reimbursement requests must be sent within a week (7 days) from when the loss occurred. After that time we will not provide reimbursement."

My account got hacked on the 27th and I didn't notice until the 30th (past few months I've only been updating my skill queue) and I filed the petition on the 30th. Since today is the seventh day and the petition is in the system should everything be ok or is old character data purged on the seventh day making reimbursements impossible?

Additionally from what I can tell between the 27th and 30th the hacker used my jump clone to access my stuff, do a station trade then jumped back to where I originally was. I didn't see anything within the reimbursement policy about station trades, is that even covered?

I'm fine if my entire character is reset back to the 24th or so, I don't mind taking the skill point loss but I do mind losing 90% of my wealth.

If you were hacked, please make sure to file a petition in the Hacked category, not the Reimbursements category. Hacked petitions are much higher on the urgency list.

Anyway, I must be a celebrity or a laughing stock at CCP Customer service. Dunno whats worse. 5 months and no progress.

I get silence on old "main" petition.
I get silence on new petition, and automated "yes we received a mail to be ignored" answer doesn't count.
I ask over the forums and nothing.
I ask for any info on a weekly basis, and nothing.

Customer support FTW.

They told me posting on GD is a sure-fire way of getting petitions solved. For more priority create more threads. If you get banned, get another account and keep poasting.

5 days is nothing, I once waited 5 months for a Drake reimbursement that quite literally exploded mid-warp, it was ******* hilarious.
