why was high sec not divided by low sec when the game launched?

Original Discussion on my part.

I just did pretty much that very thing. I moved assets in to one of those small high security Islands and with 7 trips, I made 352 jumps using a high sec to high sec worm hole. I sure as hell didn't save any time though I can say that if I had to do this using the gates that rail road you through low sec bottle necks, it wouldn't have been done at all. The assets I was moving were simply unable to make the trip.

Sandboxes are more sandboxy when there are fewer walls dividing them up.

And thought chopping up high sec would go along well in that as well.

All automated intel should be removed from the game including Instant local/jumps/kills/cynos for all systems/regions.Eve should report nothing like this to the client/3rd party software.Intel should not be force fed to players. Player skill and iniative should be the sources of intel.

Not a good reason. Having obstacles encourages players to have fun getting over them creatively. Any obstacle created by lowsec would be player generated.

If I divided hisec I would add at least 3 new regions of all lowsec to have less bottlenecks.
