Ok, so basicly I have a stable internet at work and not at home. I can play eve from home but not at work. I have eve loaded on the computer at work and its working but my boss would murder me if I were caught playing. SOoooo, I'd like to update my OLD client on my home computer but cant find a off-line patch that goes back far enough to bring it current. The whole CCP/EVE file is like 12gigs on my work computer so it would be somewhat difficult to transfer as a whole. Are there files I can just move or am I going to have to get a memory stick that will hold the whole file? Or maybe I'm going about this the wrong way? Question

Thanks!

If you have not disabled the saving of patches that the launcher downloads, you can copy the .patch files that are created from the launcher.

For example, on Windows 7, navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE (default install directory)
In that list of items, you will see some files such as:
EVE_Online_395875-404131_win.patch
and so on.
You can transfer these patch files, and the launcher will use them first instead of downloading them.

I see a file in there named "EVE_Online_0-453216_win.patch". So if I just copy that and put it in the same file on my home computer the launcher will use that to bring it to the current version? Did I get that right? I should point out that my home computer has a 6-8month old version of EVE currently installed, not sure if that matters or not. And thanks for the quick response!!
