Will this mean these ships have MASSIVE powergrids or a powergrid reduction bonus to large turrets?

cause then you'd just easily fit mediums on the ship then a MASSIVE tank.

Just had the same thought and I hope it's the latter for the same reason.

You sort of answered your own question. It's bound to be a powergrid usage bonus on weapons, or you might as well downgrade one gun to medium size and free the powergrid for a massive buffer tank.

This is EXACTLY what a BC should be - BS guns on not much more than cruiser tank...its what the Brits used in the Battle of Jutland, and we while suffered losses, it was due to poor training more than anything (hint CCP - lets have crew training skills as well, to increase the efficiency of ships). The idea was to speed tank (yes, in 1916) and generally they did so.

They were designed as BS killers rather than cruiser killers.

And the Tornado does look cool so my minmatar alt will be well happy.

This also means that the concept of ships having larger guns than usual is possible so this opens a new can of worms at the yards though already doing this with the super batttleships. Who knows maybe ill make a destroyer with cruiser weapons.

Never fear dear sir! I too favour the armor vessels... and I for one can not wait to roam around in a Large Blaster fitted Battlecruiser...

but CCP... just make the Gallente one symmetrical? k tx
