I see that we can walk around in our own private area but what happened to the social hub?

Personally, I see no point in having this or the ability to have special items of clothing purchasable at the CCP shop unless there is a bar where everyone currently on the station can get together and see each others avatar.

Massive community outcry, subscription count dropping due to this, bad press, taking far more dev resources than planned, financial problems hit and CCP scales down WoD development, which was planned to use the same engine technology.

Yes it's a shame, but may this be a lesson to devs who release a single room as the focus of an expansion. CCP has confirmed that Incarna development is totally frozen. They have concepts about where to take Incarna in the future (including gameplay, not just social features), but jump-starting Incarna development isn't even on the road map. The next year or two will be all Dust514, as far as non-core development goes.

On a good note, CCP's cash shop was basically killed off when Incarna development froze. It was fairly obvious that the entire Incarna economy was going to be rooted in NeX... that could have become a cancer that would eventually kill the game (or maybe I've just played too many SOE games X)

Here's an idea, remove CQ entirely. It's nothing but an annoyance and fits with nothing else in the game. Anyone ever load it accidentally by hitting enter while docking? I do, it's annoying.

And while we're at it, let's remove the NEX store too. It adds nothing to the game.

There's no shame in admitting you made a terrible mistake and going back to the way things were. But you should be ashamed of yourselves, CCP, for leaving these cankerous sores in our precious game.

bolded part is important as in reality Carbon has been forked and the WoD version is different from the EVE version.

WiS is dead, gone, and good riddance. The same people that would enjoy WiS are the annoying types that turned "Likes and get Likes" and all the Avatar threads into a GD eyesore for over a year. Screw wasting resources on that lot.

Of course, I'd be happier about it, but the CCP Devs who thought Space Barbies was a "brilliant" idea are the same ones who are currently pushing their highsec carebear wet dream version of EVE on the rest of us.

If I had to choose between Crimewatch 2.0 and idiotic barge buffs or space barbies and NEX, I'd say let the girls have their dolls.

Also, is it just me or do Brits WAY overuse the term 'brilliant'?
