How many of your FW'ers use your own navy ships?

As per the title

Just wondering how many of you actually use your own factions navy ships for pvp/plex etc etc

I really love the Vexor Navy Issue for straight out brawling. I've taken a gang of VNIs vesus SFIs and we held the field. Sadly, everyone and their mom flies nano so it's rare I get to use these ships.

Unfortunately, with most offensive plexers 50km off the warpin of a plex, it's rare to get a fight since they're typically shield range fit. Shield Exequror Navy issue is ideal to catch them but they would have to derp pretty hard for that to happen.

I don't think the VNI nor the ENI will be in demand as much with the introduction of the new Thorax and Vexors.

Will you be using them with the new rebalance of cruisers across the board?

And those KM are obviously being used as demonstration to younger militia members on the lack of skills required to die in one. Lol

I have however found a few skillful pilots who can generally kick my butt with an SFI (but then again I am bad)

SFI is a given, even with rebalances. Not so sure on everything else these days.

I don't fly amarr simply because I'm trained as minmatar. That's very close to changing mind you.. tech 2 lasorz here I came :)

I've decided to make the navy omen and slicer work for me since I can buy them so cheaply :D

Sometimes I fit up a hookbill or two but mostly I just build up stockpiles of the faction ships or bpc's for ??????? dunno tbh.

One day I might sell them or give them away.

I just love the Vexor Navy Issue. It packs a hell of a punch : over 900DPS overloaded with Void M Shocked and just short of 800DPS with Null M. The tank itself is decent : around 32K EHP.
If you can get a good warp in, it just melts your opponent in seconds Twisted

another aspect of this is if you don't use your faction ships I guess they are pretty much used for selling for isk then?

I am currently going through a rust phase where I am flying minnie ships almost exclusively and using LP for amar navy ships to sell for isk to fund my habit...but I'm less likely to 'buy' a navy ship if I have to pay isk for it. (i know I'm daft but hey it's the way I amBig smile )

My skills are so spread across the board that I can fly all races sub-bs, just not as competently as I could if I stick with one race. Which right now is looking like Gallente for me. I've been racking up the kills with a simple little Atron

I wear my goggles at night.

Any spelling/grammatical errors come complimentary with my typing on a phone

There isn't much of a point in using the navy caracal over the new and improved T1 version after dec 4th.

Love my Hookbill, never gave the navy Caracal a try and probably won't even look at it until after the final changes come. Same goes for faction BS...Navy Raven is awesome but unfortunately a torp Navy Raven isn't the most wanted thing in fleets these days. Much rather have a Navy Apoc...even with T1 guns.

Comets and slicers will still be used. You have to remember that next week's patch is a buff to cruisers. So the faction frigs will not be obsolete.

What about the new caracal makes the CNI obsolete?
