It looks like you have plenty of options when it comes to betting on the New Eden Open, but I can give you three reasons to choose Wunder-Bet.com over the others:

  1. Active betting taking place already, bets for the second weekend are already coming in
  2. We have information on the teams involved including interviews with many of the team captains brought to you by the always stunning Arydanika of Voices from the Void. Additionally, we have a bracket that we are updating actively.
  3. Our logo features the silhouette of a sexy woman!

EDIT: Also follow us on Twitter (@wunderbet) for promotions that could have you betting with ISK we give you!

Yep I will vouch for this, I tried it out last week and it worked well. Nice clean and slick interface. Even better however, the teams I bet on won each time !

I see you are offering bets and prices on the overall winner. If i place a bet now will i be guaranteed that price? obviously the price will reduce as the teams reduce also.

You will not be guaranteed the odds at the time you bet as we offer pool betting so the odds will fluctuate as additional people bet, this is explained on our about page. With regard to the number of teams reducing, you will notice the betting on the overall winner closes before the first match this coming Saturday, so no additional teams will be KOed before the betting closes.

The way that pool betting works is that all the ISK that is bet on a single event (in this case, the overall winner) is put into a pool and split among the winners. The odds are there to give you an indication of who the current bets are favouring, but they will change as further people (including yourself) bet. So, in your example the 7.2 odds are the odds before you bet and they will change once you add your ISK to the pool. As a general practice, waiting until shortly before the betting closes will give you a better idea of how the betting is divided, but nothing is final until the betting actually closes. That said, you will, of course, always win something if you bet on the winning outcome, the question is simply how much.

Looks good, however on the "How Does This Work?" page, really could do with a line break after each paragraph, make it look a little cleaner.

It would also be nice to see the current size of the pool on each bet, as well as just the odds.

So if i for instance i bet odds of 50.2 before saturdays first match and my 1 bill bet makes those odds 40.2 would i still get that fixed price of 40.2 for overall winner? if not whats the point in that page for the overall winner?? sorry to hijack this thread Lol

Agreed, done.

This is a good idea and something we will probably implement, can't promise it will be before this weekend though.

In any pool betting, the odds that are paid out are the odds that are current when the betting closes (i.e., the ISK that is in the pool is split between the winners). The current odds are there to indicate the current split between the bets, but this is subject to change and is updated as they change. If you have further questions as to how pool betting works I can direct you here or you can contact me directly, lets try to keep this thread from deteriorating into a 'pool betting explained' thread :)

nm, question answer earlier in thread, but seriously, in this context a betting pool based on uniform odds (as opposed to splitting the pool based on odds at the time of placing the bet) sucks and is basically a waste of time (i.e. you cant win ****)
