[Announcement] Player Event: Invasion of Jove Space

  • Staging System: Wirashoda, low sec status pilots stage in Ohkunen
  • All ships welcome, from Ibis to Avatar, this will be an inter-alliance cooperative effort among capsuleers.

    • The Jove are weakened by disease, and the might of the immortals far exceeds the Amarr fleet that was obliterated at Vak'Atioth.
    We will seize this opportunity to stage a raid on Jovian space and/or assets with the intent of plundering their exotic technology and podding GM's.

    Event has been announced far ahead of time to allow both capsuleers and the Jove to prepare.

    I am of the firm belief that if enough players show up at the Jove border and declare their intention to invade Jove space, the wondrous beings that dwell there will be obliged to militarily respond or maybe even let us in. In either case, it will be a good ol' fashioned player-driven event, and I predict many explosions. Maybe one Jove frig will warp into grid and promptly hand all of us our own asses, maybe we'll alpha the bastard and he'll drop a bunch of PLEX, maybe we'll find a new jump gate has onlined, or a wormhole has temporarily bridged the gap into their space. Maybe a pro-Jovian fleet of capsuleers will show up to defend them. Either way, bring the clone with the cheap implants, you prolly gon' die.

    I've come from nowhere, and I'm not shy to go back.
    The fight training was very extensive, a lot of stretching, a lot of coordination of balance exercises.
    People take chances every now and then, and you don't want to disappoint them.
    It's street theater. You have to make it entertaining so people don't get bored and walk away.

    If you got a good imagination, a lot of confidence and you kind of know what you are saying, then you might be able to do it.
