Hiya folks, could you please look at my sheet and suggest me some skills to train for the next 5 or so months(until the next remap).

Doing PVE currently(as you can well tell...) but I want to get a damnation or a curse or fly bombers(this will require missile support skills...) really well.

Thanks!

Getting your turret specializations to 4 will take a couple weeks. I personally live by the maxim of: if it's worth training, it's worth taking to 4.

If you're serious about bombers (null corps love bomber pilots FYI) you missile support skills to 5 (get both range skills there) all 4 frigates to 5 so you can fly every bomber, and covert ops 5 for the maximum damage bonus will take a good chunk out of those months.

After that, jump on the bandwagon and get Battlecruisers, Destroyers, and all 4 frigate and cruiser skills to 5 in anticipation of the skill changeover.

Destroyers 5 > Frigs & Cruisers 5 > BC 5 (Unless the BC change happens before you'd finish the Frigs and Cruisers. If that happens, make sure you get BC5 before the change)
Then missile skills, gunnery skills.

Thanks for the feedback guys, i've got 2 days on destroyers right now and then ~20 days on BCs since i already trained them a while back.

What are you opinions on armor/shield compensation skills ?

Shield comps aren't very useful. Armor comps are good because armor tanks get a passive armor module (EANM) but the shield omni module is active. The comp skills only affect active modules when they are OFF, meaning they exist to give you a slight buffer if you are capped out.

Problem is, if you're totally capped out, that slight buffer really isn't going to save you from anything.

In short: it's hard to argue with getting armor comps to 5. It's hard to imagine ever wanting to spend the time getting shield comps to 5.

On the flip side, shields can mount a fully passive tank and the comp skills help quite a bit there. It's somewhat niche, but it's an option worth keeping in mind.

With ASBs and cap-independent weapons you can also use shield resist amps to mount a cap-independent tank.

I turned off "show current skill training" in eveboard API's key, that's why you can only see the last thing I trained before the key update :P, the skills on the sheet are all updated though.

Surgical strike is on my V to list though, as well as large beam/pulse/arty/autocannons to IV.

Torp/bomb support skills +covops/cloaking will take around ~108 days to V from where I am now, which is good :).

Thanks for clarifying compensation skills, I won't bother with them then.

Surgical Strike, train it right meow!

You also need BC 5.
Once you finish cruiser 5 there are a lot of T2 cruiser skills you can train.

There is no Bob.

Good examples would be the tank ship for level 5 missions, or as bait against people you know like to use curses a lot.
