Faction Navy Ships are a definate start for those pretty icons.

Not sure of POS plans and changes but when shopping for POS towers it is quite common to sort by race of tower you want first then by the size next. Those icons might have a use there too.

But yeah, ships for now would seem the best use of those pretty icons. Perhaps a section too for quick searching Faction items of different races - A quick faction shop kind of thing for buying those Republic fleet warp disruptors and Fed Navy webs etc

Wait what... I shall try and remember to take a look at this on Monday.

I went and checked this out. A POS turret deployed in space has this big base with a little gun mounted on top and another on the bottom. But in the market preview only the base shows.

How about that long requested, often ignored shopping list idea?

Working like this: Open market > Item Search > right click > add to shopping list > repeat.

Saves trawling through item hierarchy and probably server resources listing all items in a group when you want only one of them.

One of the problems we have is that not all the items have proper meta levels assigned to them. People looking at static data exports will notice however that behind the scenes we are working on fixing this. No time frame or promise of any kind, but hopefully once we are done that we can look at doing this.
