+1 to Tonali for doing the impossible every time he logs in. He makes his corner of EVE friendly.

Things that keep me up at night;  Why do we use a voice communication device to send telegraphs? Moore's Law should state, Once you have paid off the last PC upgrade you will need another.

ISN’s recent attempts at the tournament resulted in us winning nothing but having a lot of fun in the process. None of us really expected to win the whole thing but we were confident in our abilities and trusted each other enough to know we would have each others backs in a tight spot.

We trained and argued about 'this ship' vs 'that ship' and all the ‘what ifs’ you could possibly imagine. We tried out a few dozen ships and got blown up by each other more times than I can count. We spent some long hours on the test server and I ordered food from my local pizza shop so much I have their menu memorized. The pizza shop answers their phone with ‘Your usual Sir.’ rather than their normal ‘How can we help you.’

In short we had a blast. Spent a lot of time with friends theory crafting on the thing we all love to do EVE-Online.

No we didn’t win the Tournament, we didn’t even make is through the second elimination,

What we did is get 9 guys spread across 7 time zones together to try something totally new. For that alone, I think we won.

Best group of pilots, great group of friends, wouldn’t fly with anyone else.

Will we do it again? Without hesitation

I have started running with Incursion Shiny Network from advice from one of the guys in my corp. While i have tried running with other incursion groups in the past and met with some down talking and or "Noob remarks" which made me not want to ask questions with them. ISN would help me with fit issues on ships and if i made a noobish mistake they would point it out to me and explain the proper way to conduct bizness. While ISN were helping me, they let me know i would be put on a "Second string" list give the FC's a hey watch this Noob :)

ISN has made me a lot of isk which in turn allowed me to buy and upgrade my modules. After running with them as both logi and Dps for about a month upgrading and trainning I have learned wich skills to go for 1st and how to optimize my Dps and logi tricks of the trade and also put on "Normal list". (ShockedDisclaimer I still do some noob things when it comes to wrong targets once and awhile) but I believe with ISN i have and will continue to go a long way with :) thanks ISN.

Xanista also came to ISN with faction guns. We allow certain cases where you are close to / training for T2 guns but want to use faction and start flying with us immediately.

Now that's ^ something I didn't think ISN was capable of....

I will post in various channels about how ISN welcomes the new players and trains them in their fleets. This will surely paint ISN in a positive light as the friendly and patient people they are. :)

This is an all to common opinion ammoung people who were given second hand information about isn, luckly for the most 99% positive word of mouth

On another note...

Personaly i have fced incursions long before isn and i have never bad mouthed another communitys or wouldnt unless they personaly greifed my fleets [contesting is not greifing] , And that takes alot seems even BB fleets failed badly trying Big smile
and then i wouldnt be lowered to their level just loled at there fail and kept make my loyal members isk that is why i like and fly with isn as they have the same idea's and treat everyone with respect unless they act like a complete knob and deserve to be banned and forgotton about,
ISN

To the haters

If you cant beat them join them

In your case

If you cant beat isn or join them badmouth them

That's kind of what I'm doing! I have run with only Kuugen as FC so far and he told me he'd rather have Faction 1400s rather than T2 800s so I went out and bought some faction 1400s while I finish training for them. :)

We prefer 1400s and Tachyons for sheer alpha when contesting (On a side note, i love 800s and MPs because of my NCO / OTA fleets, but thats just my personal preference). So if an individual reading this doesn't have the skills for T2 guns yet, please don't waste your ISK going for faction 800s / MPs, just go straight to faction 1400s / Tachyons. Evemail me anytime to be added to the faction guns list and keep us updated on your training.

And a small reminder: ISN is officially considered a renegade community that disrupts incursion farming for everyone. By flying with ISN you will have your access to thousands of incursion runners cut.

If you want 4 minute Vanguards (elite): visit DIN-Flotten
If you want training fleets: fly with The Valhalla Project
If you want to get banned: good luck with ISN

ISN is not interested in politics, or asking permission to fly and take sites. We are interested in making ISK at the expense of the Sanshas in the sites, if we happen to contest, such is life, I've even been in a contest where we lost once or twice.

None of us cared. We just moved along to the next one. This is why I like ISN, we're smokin' and jokin' in the comms, the logi (that would be me) are paying attention to what we're doing, and everyone has a good time and makes ISK.

If you're not interested in the drama of negotiations, politics, and just want to get in, make your ISK, make some smartass comments to fleet mates, have a good time and them move along to whatever it was you were doing before? Then ISN is the place for you. It's not about who has what rights to what site, it's about what we got in play, who's ready, and willing.

The whole newbie-unfriendly thing is a load of bull anyway. My fellow ISN people here have been seen discussing with new players ship builds, ideal skill paths and *GASP* occasionally helping someone with that last little bit they need to come online with a basic ship and fit. No there's no free handouts so don't join in the channel for free stuff. it doesn't work.

We like new players, they expand our community. We like new players who ask relevant questions, add relevant things to discussions and who say things that make us laugh. One of the fastest ways to get a good basic incursion fit that won't die in a fire within three seconds is pretty much as fast as you can type plus a few seconds. Hell when I was a completely new berk to incursions after about ten minutes of conversation I figured out what skills and fit I could squeeze into with about a week of training for my first fleet.

The so-called unreasonable skill requirements are simply for efficiency and maximizing everyone's ISK gains. We don't punt the guy in a vargur just because a shiny mach X's up. the mach has to wait in the waitlist like everyone else. Logistics pilots who aren't asleep at the keyboard are always highly sought-after and good pilots in good ships are rewarded for their effort with fast sites.

The accusations of griefing and being rogue, along with the hate-on for new players pretty much amounts to "we're willing to contest sites." I'm one of the newer (a couple months) players to ISN but I've never had an instance where we decided "Hey we're gonna follow these guys and yank the sites out from under them."

We don't plot and scheme how to extract tears from innocent TVP players. Doing this cuts into the ISK flow to our wallets, thus marginalizing the whole reason for being here. It also takes effort better directed to the next Assault site or whatever.

It's not worth our time to do so, and bluntly the TVP crew is there for the same reason we are. Get ISK, buy cool **** in EVE, go blow stuff up. If we're contesting you, it's because you happen to be going after the same sites we do as a priority. No hard feelings, good contest. if you win the site enjoy your ISK, we've already aligned and warped to the next site. If not, good luck and good hunting in your next site.

If you're a person willing to take the time to do it right, get yourself fit with the right gear and if you're a team player who doesn't argue with the FC when he's calling orders, then ISN is the right place for you.

If you have a sick sense of humor and enjoy talking with people on comms who don't care about your EVE politics past how well you shoot, ISN is the right place for you/

If you like making ISK, ISN is the right place for you.

What we don't have is any interest in politics, negotiation over who gets what site and when, or anything resembling someone else telling us how and when we are allowed to do incursions. So if all you care about is going in, killing a site and leaving the politics floating in the toilet seat where they belong... ISN IS THE PLACE FOR YOU.

If you like being a drama llama and crying about things.. anything... ISN is probably not the place for you.

Thanks ISN for making me a Primary member - I have never made more isk/hr than with you and had a good time doing it.

I have run with 4 different Incursion communities and had some respectable training with them. I won't say anyone is bad as I saw that each had their place - besides someone has to be the entry level community to let people like me get some training and action.
But once trained and fitted - it is a NIGHT vs. DAY experience flying with ISN's speed and integrity.
Its the only fleet I will fly my fully faction fit Vindi in without using a DC in VG's.
I highly respect thier pilot/fitting selection process and to know that I enter each site with some of the best and most competent PVE'ers around.

So Cheers ISN - here's to long and profitable Days Ahead !

Easy Plexxing !

And to many more CONTESTS WON ! Big smile

Incursion Shiny Network is a successful Incursion community that was created in the late 2011, Currently being managed by Noble Ranger , Kodavor and Bozl1n . Incursion Shiny Network has earned its reputation by fielding full pirate faction fleets in the Incursion scene, That being said there where only a handful of communities that could compete against our Incursion fleets, Meaning with nobody around to take us on for site or system control, We relished the rewards from the Vanguard systems.

When Inferno came knocking on Incursions doorstep, A lot of communities fell apart with the recent Nerf, With only a short list of Incursion communities left standing, Incursion Shiny Network started to look into Assaults, Getting the kill orders correct and keeping the standards of our community. We still remain Vanguard focused but now have conquered all of the Incursions sites including many Kundulini sites . All of it was possible trough hard work and support of or pilots in the core .

How To Join

Joining Incursion Shiny Network is simple, We currently have two ingame channels, This helps us maintain our community and gives it some infastructure.

ISN Secondary - This is our "Public" channel, If you are new to our community or want to join us this is the channel that you wish to join, This enables you to join and post your fitting, If your fitting meets our standards then you will be pulled into a fleet by one of our trusted Fleet Commanders.

ISN Primary - This is our "Members" channel, Once you have joined our fleets and the Fleet Commander is happy with you and how you do in the fleet as DPS or Logi, You will then be invited here.

If you are going to join our public channel, Please do so in a mature frame of mind, If any trolling or bullying is taking place you will be banned from our channels, Please make sure you act mature.

Requirements

The only ships that we fly in our community is Pirate Faction/T3 so please do not come into our channel with T1 Hulls and Meta 4 Guns, You will not be invited into fleet, We are a high standards community, I will give you more fitting information below.

With maxed out OGB

Machariels/Nightmares: T2 Guns, All Resistances Above 70%
Vindicator: T2 Guns, All Resistances Above 70%
Basilisks: Logistics 5, 5 T2 Shield Reps, Sufficient Tank
Scimmitar: Logistics 5, 4 T2 Shield Reps, Sufficient Tank
T3 Cruisers: T2 Guns, All Resistances Above 70%

Please note that we no longer have a public Mailing List for our Fittings due to various reasons .
