This isn't any different from EVE players going to Hello Kitty Online and demanding that they implement actual PvP.

What I'm saying is that this game isn't for everyone. The notion that CCP should accommodate every type of playstyle is pants-on-head ******** since this is not a multi-shard game.

EVE is a sandbox game that should encompass as many playstyles as possible. There is no good reason that douchebag activity can't be restricted to low and null.

I know a lot of people are afraid to lose their skilless/riskless"pvp" that hardly amounts to more than shooting fish in a barrel and are throwing up their hands about crimewatch, but this is exactly what this game needs. Less abusable mechanics and less cowards able to mess with others while under the protection of concord.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to play EVE without the cowardly douche bags.


The thing that really irritates me this when people throw the word sandbox around, sandbox game play is all about freedom it isn't about appealing to everyone, sandbox gameplay determines that players should have a large amount of freedom, if a player wants to blow up your barge, he can if he spends enough isk and is smart, he might not make a profit, but he can. You can deny kills by fitting a tank to your ship, or using a tankier ship or by choosing a less populated route.

There is a good reason that douchebag activity can't be contained is because IT'S A SANDBOX!
