All,

Added http://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/EVE_Visual_Effects_Cheat_Sheet to the EVElopedia.

Final edit on the text was CCP Explorer so its CCP approved.

Great page to direct casual watchers to.

Illustrates NEO Interface and module effects.

The Nos one is a bit cluttered and could probably be clearer.

The effects graphic mislabels sensor damping as target painting.

Also you may want to try to choose a picture that differentiates between Nos and Neut, the icons are small anyways and it's hard to tell (for example the commentators claimed I neuted Nulli's logistics but it was a nos effect that was shown on the graphic)

Overall though that's a nice set of work to use for newer players.

Great idea.

Suggestion for improvement: take 4-5 frame captures and stitch them into an animated GIF, and standardize the size to something more web-friendly.

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

Cool idea. 2 of the icon descriptions are wrong though, as has already been mentioned target painting is actually sensor damping and cap transfer is actually neuting. I don't think cap transfer shows up with an icon, at least I can't recall any icons in matches that had a cap chain going.

Also, I like the term "Damage Applification", it both applies and amplifies damage which makes it twice as awesome.

hey CCP you should comment on the state of the new effects you've been showing off for the past couple fanfests. WE've gotten a bunch in game now, but I'd love to see the effects that are super similar looking get changed. Then this wiki would be way more useful.

Just something to think about : )

well, your screenshots are out of date.
Last weekend they used a new 'scree' interface with ship names/types etc. in nice big fat tag. Much much better then before, and finally they dimmed drones, so its much less confusing.

A dev is suppose to update the top two pictures and the ui will change again next week so I am guessing they are waiting for that reason
