I'd take a blood raider version with the crimson accents, and a web range benni. Yet somehow still use auto cannons.

I like the look of the black amarr ships. Tho the harby does sorta look like the type of Amarr ship that would have the red on it.

Tier-2 battlecruisers are imo way too strong compared to their tier1 counterparts and their cost & training requirements.

There should be other realistic choices for new players than "rush to the tier-2 bc of your choice asap".

Destroyers reuse the frigate-sized modules and are much stronger than T1 frigates in some areas (raw dps, ability to snipe) but they come with heavy drawbacks (slow, huge sig, no tank).

Tier-2 battlecruisers reuse cruiser-sized modules (which means training requirements are very low) but have no drawbacks that would matter for their class - they are just better at everything than cruisers or tier-1 battlecruisers (which nobody uses for links anyways): better dps, better tank, comparable mobility, almost the same skill training requirements, ...

Introducing another unconditionally stronger 3rd tier or a faction/T2 variant would just break balance even more.

I love flying a Hurricane or a Harbinger (or maybe a nano-Drake) as much as the next guy but using an overpowered ship is always "fun".

I also thought the Tornado was a battleship.

And yes as cool as pirate/T2 tier 2 battlecruisers would be, unfortunately they would be way OP I mean a Cane is already a match for some battleships.

And a sudden plunge in the sullen swell. Ten fathoms deep on the road to hell.

I have to dissagree with this statement here, out of all the ships i see the most (especially in mission hubs) the top three would be raven, drake, hurricane. Two of them are T1 Battlecruisers. So from personal experience i would say 50% of the BC types are flown regularly.

T2 tengu has my vote for next ship that would be badass.

But think the OP is referring to the thorn, then navigator post of new ships coming. Think that is BS. It is a bit sad with the thorn and new ships, just because of faction BS's we have already. Look forward to the new T1 gallente BS but will it be better then a Navy Megathron? Much the CNR and the new caldari ship.

The 4 new ships are battleships, the main one being the Tornado and the 3 others being matching racials for the others.

You don't really see mega pulses on other battleships either.

How about some loving for cruise missiles? I mean basically only the raven and scorp can fit a full rack which is just unfair.
