So if I read it correctly the Thorax hull is going to get a fourth med slot. And wanted to know what the general consensus was in regards to what module shall be placed there and what fits you all had in mind.

I was personally considering dual prop with a plate fit, but I haven't bothered to check the pg limits if they were changed at all to fit such a thing. So simply put any ideas, regarding pvp or even pve if you must.

This is as much as a vague discussion as it is a question, so have at it.

You can fit a Meta 4 1600mm Plate, Electrons II's, Meta MWD and AB II on it using an ACR. If you do not have AWU V you will need a 2% Implant.

I will either use it for a TD, Web or Small Cap Booster.

There's a huge number of things you could put in that midslot. If you're armor fit you could go dual web/mwd/scram, you could go dualprop scram/web, or dualprop TD/scram. You could put a second LSE on it for a shield fit. You could put an Invuln if you're expecting logi support. Could put a cap booster if you're going active tank. Could go dual SeBo longpoint if your fleet lacks in fast tackle.

Think ECM is getting nerf'd for non ecm ships, so would be a strike against it, and I honestly forget what tweaks they're doing to the rest of ewar. What with the speed boost / slight sensor decrease I'd figure dual prop would be a decent measure for the thorax especially now that the mwd bonus is gone. Dual webs could do it but with that tracking bonus two webs sounds like overkill for that blaster class.

This is strictly imho, I love the rax, I probably won't change much anything out of my current fit the med almost seems unneeded, but with it's existence might as well put something there. I'd figure ab, or cap booster to compensate the mwd.

I would go with an ECCM - 38.6 sensor strength being a big middle finger to dishonour boats. No point having DPS if you get permajammed. Following has 536DPS and 23K EHP. 643 DPS with Void. D:
