Quentin Tarantino as director? I think his stile fits EVE universe well.Question

Jessica Danikov > EVE is your real life. the rest is fantasy. caught in a corporation. no escape from banality. open up yours eyes, peer through pod good and seeeeeee. I'm just a poor pilot, I need no sympathy. because I'm easy scam, easy go, little isk, little know. anyway the solar wind blows...

Screenplay - Joss Whedon

A war that would’ve involved 20,000 players, 75% of nullsec space, and hundreds of supercapitals was halted not by diplomacy, but by a game mechanic so dreadful that those who have experienced it previously have no desire to do so again. - Fix POS & SOV

Angelina Jolie is a sleazy skunk ho, completely inappropriate for someone as regal and majestic as empress of Amarr. Better alternatives:
Charlize Theron
Lena Headey

Jamyl Sarum looks exactly like Angelina Jolie, though.
Compare:
Jamyl
Jolie

Too bad we can't go back in time and use a young Jane Seymour. Pretty good match for Jamyl's portrait.

for director i am torn between:

Francis Ford Coppola

or

Ridley Scott

both directors are highly stylized and are great at telling the story... ridley obviously has the experience with scifi but Francis made the best movie of all time...

and the producer has to be

James Cameron

just think about all the tech James would bring to making the movie a reality...

also because of the relationship between sony and ccp... sony pictures would have to make the movie...

i mean they are re-doing the evil dead...

this would be great...

as for the screenplay?

Tony Kushner he has not done much but i tell you he will win the Academy award for best screen writer in the spring...

Though tbh the movie should be CG (i would manipulate the carbon tech and use that to make the movie... pretty much let James cameron and sony have free will on Carbon and it would be epic)

and have it be based on the first gal-caldari war and the minni rebellion...
At the end of the game both the pawn and the Queen go in the same box.

They could still make a movie but after the series has a cult following and it's been cancelled... Sad

awesome thread. samuel jackson as leader of the Minmatar LOL (i see what you did there)
also, i wouldnt vote bruce willis as being a pirate and for that matter a co founder of a pirate nation. whenever i think of bruce willis i think of a kind of "Han Solo" character, like a smuggler/trader of some kind, not very interested in combat or confrontation but in it more for the money to pay off some debt or get a fat payday and disappear. perhaps an ex caldari/gallente special forces soldier turned smuggler? also what about Falek Grange and other characters from the book series? ( the retford crew i forgot their names) and what about the broker? i think mr smith from matrix would be an awesome "the broker" character.

Added a few more characters and actors you guys suggested, and added a few more for you to fill in.

This is shaping up to be an awesome movie.

We still need a Director Big smile

Also, we need a company to handle visual effects Blink
