Warp to Jita

I've moved this from General discussion to Features and Ideas.

Speaking as a veteran player:

I don't believe that this idea is in the spirit of EVE in its current form however. Space is not safe and the 20 minutes spent jumping to Jita isn't just a time sync that you can avoid; there's the gameplay aspect of avoiding or interacting with other players, and feeling the living universe and all that!

I think if you can find a way to encompass all of that too, then this idea would be viewed more favourably.

it wasent a way to sidestep the time sync more of a direct route to jita with added danger in the supergate being just outside of the system so thier was a bit of damager thier

as stated balance between getting to jita and the pirates need to blow stuff up (seem a bit harder then you would think P)


anyway it was only would it not be easer to just spend the 20 minutes in one warp to a supergate with added danger at the gate end (as normal gankers in jita) and then jump back normaly as the only supergate is in jita so the same risk from comming back from jita was/is still thier,

but since the majority of the posts are no dont like it then Big smile it was after all just a idear.

And you reply to everyone in the form of a question, why, exactly? I rarely see you giving an opinion, and more often see you just feigning intelligence by essentially asking "why" to everything. Seems to fool a lot of people judging by your likes though.

This idea is bad because EVE's lore is heavily built around the idea of stargates and their mechanics, and much of the gameplay is based on reliance upon stargates. Change/remove stargates and you massively alter the game, likely for the worse.


still a good question, and something everyone with any idea should be asking themselves...maybes thats why its posted everywhere
