I am starting a blog to document my day to day activity within the EVE Universe. As a way of communicating with the community and most important, kill time.

The blog can be found HERE.

Blog is coming on well, thanks to all my readers! I have updated this a little bit to reflect more on what content my blog has.

What the blog is for:


  • To record my day to day life (in eve ofc :s)
  • Express the usage of WH's and PvP
  • Show battle reports of all sorts
  • Discussion


Types of posts:



Above is the type of posts I will be writing about, a Detailed Battle Report is when I talk about the battle from start to finish through the use of immersion to try and put you in my shoes, the Roam post can also be tied to the same category if a fight occurs. Simplified battle reports are a brief run down of how I started the fight and every single derp/hero move I executed during the fight, what tactics I used/could have used and what got me killed/won me the fight, cool right?!

Fits and Implants, the posts were I go into detail about some of my favorite ships + fits along with the precious implants I use in the process, in here I will also be posting optimal implant sets for specific fits

Gank is pretty straight forward, I kill something shiny I write about it, hopefully with the addition of tears but no promises there.

Blog updates, well if I add something useful or change stuff about, I will be sure to let you know.

Why should you follow?

A few reasons but more the obvious being just general interest, I will be posting about my every day roams be it utter fail with no kills and a death or full with engagements.
Hell, I might run a site and then tell you what I got. Or if its flyable go die in it.

I have never used a blog before, I was never an initial fan of them but with the weather getting cold, staying in and doing some extra activities is looking like a good idea.

You can also follow me @Gibbo3771 on twitter for all my latest posts. The tweets are rather uninformative and I am using an automated system that tweets for me per new Post, I will most likely switch away from this later and do it manual.

There's Harpy action in WYGC2, dunno about his more recent ones. Actually that vid has several Harpy snippets, and a glimpse of a discussion about evolving the fit.

Thank you for the info on that video, will update the post the now.

I was trying to keep the content based around stuff that has happened AFTER creation of the blob, however I might create another page within the blog with old BR's.

You might want to link each described new blog post in your forum posts here, as in future I assume they'll drop off the landing page listing and make things more difficult for people to catch up with what a topic might have been. It being the internet and all that hyperlinking shizzle.

Successful Split, Then Fail

After successfully splitting a gang and getting a fight, I proceed to derp my Harpy in a fail gank attempt.

Note:

Once I get a certain level of publicity and activity, I will be doing several Posts using an Automated posting method, in order of events. This means rather than me posting a new one, then coming on here and notify people. I instead do a bunch of stuff, write several posts, put them on a schedule and then post here telling you the name of the posts and time they go live.

During the fight our dear CEO ROSSLINDEN0 gets Assassinated by lazor beams.

Aquila Inc CEO Assassinated in Epic Battle

The title was derived from the funniest part of the roam, watching someone die in their own trap.
