Just a quick one actually wondering if there's any way CCP can convince own3d to come out from the dark ages and let their videos be watched on smartphones and tablets :)

OR if anyone could get these uploaded somewhere they can watch them.

Doubt it will be possible, feels for me as if Own3d really, really, really stresses your internet. When I am watching a stream or replay, my TS ping goes through the roof as well as my Skype connection.

Would probably need WiFi to even get a remotely worth while connection.

Not just internet, the own3d player seems to be quite resource intensive for your system as well, a lot higher than for example youtube.

I was watching the stream last weekend via an iPhone (trapped in the wilds of Michigan for Thanksgiving) -- and as I recall I was just using the standard browser rather than Chrome. As I understand it own3D works for iOS only for live streams and not for archived videos.

[Edit 5 minutes later] Yeah, I was just able to connect my ancient iOS 5.1.1 iPod to www.own3d.tv/CCPGames/live/307014 using Safari and it streamed just fine for me.
[Additional edit] I also just confirmed the live stream was able to be seen by my iOS 6.0.1 iPhone using Safari. For me the only problem comes when I try to view the archived own3D videos using iOS devices.
