Funny Erebus kill - caldari fw

So the caldari were out in a little fleet shooting some nasty PIEs, cyno goes up then crazy **** goes down as they process to escalate with dreads, motherships and ofc a titan.

Lots of dead caps later, Erebus is dead and the Caldari militia rejoice with lols, and I nearly never logged on tonight \o/

Saw an erebus on dscan in old man star and a bunch of caps cynoing and wondered what was up.

Nice kill, though my understanding is that the titan was essentially awoxed and calmil played an incidental part. Unless Lord Mummbi asked them to be bait at which point, nice bait.

I wouldnt call it so much as bait action, we had a small gang out trying to kill 2 carriers on the heyd gate when after 30mins of both sides getting no where, 3 cynos were lit and multiple parties jumped in and cluster ****** each other, will be 1 hell of a battle report. Cal mil has a legimate claim for bragging rights, if we didnt true grit those carriers for half an hr then the drunk erebus pilot wouldnt have jumped in Oops

It took you 30 minutes to not kill 2 carriers, thats not great. Though, i guess it was your inability to break the carriers that allowed lord mummbi the time to convincing andreus it was a good idea to drop his titan on gate. Though, the 2 carriers were going to be there regardless of a your bc gang since they were baiting for muppet supers before you arrived so its debatable.

its amazing what squids can accomplish when DnD deploy away from the warzone for even just a couple of days. shame they dont try do when we are formed :P

We are in those "plex" things that many of your people seem to give wide berth, most likely because hotdropping is not possible inside them. But i'm fairly sure those will be removed as decent pvp areas too if all CCP's planned changes happen and we can look forward to even more stagnated FW.

it might actually force squids to form a counter hotdrop to fight for once but then that would involve being in ships bigger than Dessies (okay okay there were 2 kraken pilots in a mega and a rokh!!! on the titan mail)

Or people might be more interested in, you know, roaming and fighting from the word go than humping a titan for an hour or two so they can hotdrop couple of boats and log for the day....
