Meta lvl sub-categories in the market

Hey guys,

Don't know if this has been discussed before, but I didn't see it so I thought I'd post. What do you guys think of having sub-categories within categories for different meta levels? For example, when you open a turret type (we will use projectiles for example) you are greeted with Autocannons, and Artillery Cannons. Simple enough. But when you open one of those, BOOM you are greeted by a ton of different options, and I know for younger players this can be quite daunting (it was for me). So my idea was to have another drop down menu for each meta level labeled from Meta 0 to Meta 5 (keep the faction mods in their own dark little corner that nobody ever ventures into). This is just an idea I thought up, so any constructive feedback is appreciated. I don't know if this is something CCP could possible implement in the future, but I think it could really help newer players (and older ones, too) in navigating the ever-complex market window.

There are certainly a few categories in the market that could do with further categorization. Classifying according to meta level probably makes sense. Unfortunately doing this blindly for all items will cause more problems than it will solve, as the market information in displayed quite satisfactorily for most items.

Maybe there could be a "sort by meta level" option in the market window?

It has also been one of my dreams to be able to recognize meta 1-4 items at a glance from the icons (not names). This may not be too tough. All you need is a small coloured tab in a corner, or 1-4 tiny dots in a corner of the icon.

Any colour you like.

You should have wished for this earlier, as you've got your wish
