Also getting this problem.

turning on the CQ is not a valid fix that i'll accept.

AFK cloaking doesn't earn anything, so it needs a buff!

1.Dock, enter hangar view, go to esc menu, general settings tab, change windows snap option to "Don't snap"
2. Grab the station services window and move it a little bit away from screen edges (it should not stick to any side od screen)
3. Enter esc menu again and turn the snap on to your desired value.
4. Undock. If the ov windows were relocated previously put them in the position you want them to be.
5. Dock. Station services window should not be relocated from the posision you put it in the last time.
6. Undock. Same as above - ov should not be relocated.

Confirming this has finally worked for me. Previously, cache clearing and window resetting had not.

I have the same bug, and can confirm that 'Resetting all Settings' doesn't fix it either.
Going to try the workaround, once I finish configuring my settings again.

This did not work for me. I finally noticed that overview/selected item windows got left on the screen up untill "station services" window came and went in between of em' both, making selected item window smaller while forcing it to upper-right corner of screen and making overview also smaller but forcing it to lower-right corner of screen.

So i figured a solution and tested it by undocking several times with different ships and all. And all i needed to do was to move "station services" window out of it's original position so that it would not touch the original place of overview/selected item windows.

For your information: This issue is fixed internally, and this fix should go onto Singularity this Friday. Thanks for pointing out that checking off "don't snap" would reduce the likeliness of this happening, it helped us big time finding the root cause.

hmm...déjà vu.
As I remember right the same issue has already occured earlier with deployment of a tyrannis patch and was related to a change of the python version. New release of old shipspinning... and old bugs ;).

P.s: nevertheless, ccp you are on the right path now.

After it's on Singularity, how long do you reckon it'll be before it hits Tranquility? Having this problem about 25 times an evening really does make it unbearable and I don't think I can cope until having to wait until the Winter expansion before we get it.

"Another reliable quick fix is to disable Window Snapping altogether within the "General Settings" tab (set the Window Snap Distance to "Don't snap"). "

Really? This again?

That's why that option was imlemented a few years back, and I've had it disabled since. And still the windows move about like there's no tomorrow. So that workaround doesn't really work well.

PS: Yes, you're on the right track again, good thing.

If all goes well: Tuesday seems likely.
