We are Thankful

While the Amarr, being the superior culture that we are, have no shortage of venerated holy days, yearly community rituals, and occasion for splendid to-dos.... this time of year can be especially important.

Although the names of the particular Saints and Holy Relics might change slightly in parts of the Empire (and certainly among my Sect), we take this time to give thanks.

Thanks for that which we hold dear, to those we shower with our love, to those whom we respect.

The Nobilita Nera [Black Nobility]

Is thankful for the weak, whom exist to serve the strong.

Is thankful for the fools, whom give us the gifts of pity and ridicule

Is thankful for the prideful, whom we long to bend to our will

Is thankful for the boastful, whom we cherish in embarrassing

Is thankful for the heretic, whom we gift with death

and Is thankful for the wayward True Amarr, whom we will show the Way and the Truth

In the spirit of this day of thanks, for what are you capsuleers thankful ?

We are thankful that you have not reproduced.

EDIT:

On a serious note, I am thankful for my fiance Simca Develon. I am thankful for my friend and employer John Revenent. I am thankful for the goals and aspirations I have set in my life that provide me with direction and progress.

I am thankful for each and every life we have been privileged to help.
I am thankful for all who have helped us in our efforts, people of grace and peace.
I am thankful for the richness of the gift of all humanity.

The Disciples of Ston bid you peace

I can't think of a single thing I'm thankful for.

Thanks for nothing, I suppose.

I am thankful for my friends, who teach me greatly;

I am thankful for my enemies, who teach me even more;

I am thankful for the kind, who light many roads;

I am thankful for the wicked, who light the rest.

I am thankful for those who walk these paths with me;

and those who have walked them before.

Less generally;

I am thankful that my friends and co-workers at the Lai Dai Police Service station in Villasen have been freed from the Federal blockade and have rejoined us once more, and I look forward to the eventual freedom of our friends and co-workers at Kinakka.

I am thankful for my superior, for being willing to pay for the expensive surgeries and therapies which I needed to return to the land of the living; and for all of my friends and associates here who have put so much work into my health. I am literally the product of their efforts, and hope I can repay their kindness with more kindness.

Thank you for suggesting this exercise, Lady Vitalia.

Not all gratitude is best expressed in public.

Always gotta be another motive to your posts. You never have anything really good to say do you?

Anyway, I'm thankful for miners. Because of their endless work, I get cheap ships to use. Thank you miners, you guys kick ass.

Its good to stop and reflect on the many "blessings" we have, both known and unknown, seen and unseen. Whether they come from cosmic serendipity or Divine Providence, expressed gratitude is due and good. Of all the many "blessings" I have so undeservedly received. I would have to grant the greatest as free will.

This is a very splendid ritual indeed, I'll try to participate myself (I hope Im doing it right...)

I am thankful for my father, who was an ideal to me all these years.

I am thankful for my masters, who taught me to fight and to endure.

I am thankful for my friends, who keep me alive.

I am thankful for my enemies, who make me stronger.

I am thankful for medical team of State War Academy, who gave me another chance.

I am thankful for gallentean 'justice', who made me part of this community.

And I am thankful for Tibus Heth,
who give me reason to live,
who give me will to fight,
who returned us home of my father's ancestors,
and who made me proud to be Caldari!

GLORY TO THE STATE!

Honored are the dead, for their legacy guides us.

In memory of Tibus Heth, Caldari State Executor YC110-115, Hero and Patriot.

I am thankful for life, which teaches us to suffer.

I am thankful for death, to bring respite to the misery of life.

I am grateful for strong allies like the Amarr.

Highsec is owned by players now. Systems 0.5-1.0 are New Order Territory. All miners and other residents of Highsec must obey The Code. Mining without a permit is dangerous and harmful to the EVE community. See www.MinerBumping.com

I am Halete, I am thankful;

To my medical team, to which I owe my immortality.

For my crews, whose own mortality grounds me.

For the pilots like Ava Starfire, who brings hope to the disaffected empyrean.

For the Spirits, who are my guides.

For Saede and everything that I owe her for, for allowing me to be more human than human.
