EVE Alliance Tournament Discussion

After this tournament is over, we need to focus on helping the CCP with the ideas about how to implement and add to the game a "Tournament Bubble" class item.

With properties such as range, key-value type lists such as shiptypes and their points value, max points, max number of participants per team, team participation either by standings, or participant list by their ingame name, timer, bubble_transparent true | false, cargohold for rewards or value of isk payment sent to the winning team, etc.

Players can do the rest, except for annual or bi-annual events sponsored by CCP, like usual.

Such level of implemented automatic may help CCP staff with more events, or require less effort from their side enabling them to do other things.

NPC/storyline content can also profit from this, Angels or Guristas agents may give special missions inside tournament bubble, for a team of players to beat "Angel team". Sleeper AI, with team composition of some of real tournament winninig setups, so its not the same all the time and you can not know what Angels will bring. Can drop tournament beacon item for players to anchor somewhere.

Server side recorder, that would record a match, client can play it by receiving stream from server just like usual, no need for expensive video broadcasts. Also able to replay later to analyze by playing the recorded file.
