nothing wrong with being *snip*. and if a carebear sets his foot outside of hisec, there is nothing wrong with dropping a mach on his head. who knows, he might be this guy.

Mach is one of the strongest PVP ships in the game. And one of the few battleships you can take out solo to kill a couple of frigs or cruisers. If you can afford to fly it, fly it.

Confirming that ganking carebears and miners in High Sec is very *snip*. P

Also confirming that both carebears and miners will die horribly when they try to tackle a Mach. Even after Crime Watch it''ll still be the Apex predator of High Sec.

Machs are great in PVP, but they have one draw back.

A report of a War Target or Pirate mach WILL draw a huge blob to bait and hunt it down, because everyone wants a Mach killmail on their killboard at all costs.

Mac pilots thrive on this. People will literally loose their mind over a faction BS kill. A basic ECCM module will stop a falcon perma-jamming you, 1 lock cycle is enough to kill it. Rapiers die in seconds, lachesis the same.

The mac thrives on large blobs over-commiting to kill it. You wont get one to get into a slug fest with you, since it can throw dps to 100km... so that means chasing it down - and even with OGB for a rapier/lach it still hard to kill... cause it tanks 1kdps with an ASB.

Flying a mac is worth it, but not easy. Get prepared to be camped in, bubbled and generally harrassed. But you will get kills while all this happens... the real skill is making it back home to refill on ammo and cap charges afterwards :)
