Will we see Devs talking about next years ideas for expansions between the New Eden tourney fights?

I have not been able to watch as much as I would have liked so if I missed some already I apologize. I have always enjoyed hearing about the future between fights. I think its great CCP wants to get involved with Esports BTW. Thank you.

EVE deserves a place in e-sports. It's one of the most complex MMO's out thre at the moment and deserves more publicity. I'm sure there's plenty of game players out there that are dyin to find a game like EVE. Also, I hope CCP will talk more about expansions, BUT i'd rather them talk more about individual players in a team, and mor how the tactics we used affected each match.

I really don't know how many informations they can provide about individual players except their kill/loss status on battleclinic. Its hard to track who is who because characters are being sold from time to time and also there is ton of alts in game. I'd like commentators to track more what happening in fight, maybe to talk less and be focused on each team tactics.

Understood, but i meant more towards the players as they do things. as in "Ah, Buhhdust just got tackled in a harpy by 3 nightmares and is in a really bad position right now"..

Then: "Oh and he escapes intact, the ASB prowess on that guy was just awesme" :P

That kind of stuff, you know?

or maybe " Ah, Buhhdust just got tackled in a harpy by 3 nightmares there is no way his captain will let him play in any more matches after that mistake"

There will be a lot more expansion talk on the final day, when we have bigger breaks between the matches.

I think what we're asking for, CCP, is that you give the New Eden Open a different narrative. This isn't alliance tournament lite. Yes, some of the teams (especially on really short notice) are going to approach this with mindsets they know from the past--can totally understand CCP tending that way too. But YOU GUYS are the organizers, and frankly, the ball defaults to your court here. You have the chance to help frame how this whole thing is received, and we want you to pull your weight.
