Exhumers and Mining Barge Skills

I'm having a dilemma lately about these two skills !

Does any one them gives the 3% bonus to mining turret yield per skill level anymore ?? Because in the skill description it's not specified that it gives this bonus.

Check the description of the ships (the barges and exhumers). On some the skill gives bonuses to cargo, on others yield

Hi,

In the description of the mackinaw you can find :

Quote:

Mining Barge Skill Bonus:
3% better yield for Strip Miners.
7.5% bonus to all shield resistances per level

Exhumers Skill Bonus:
5% reduction in Ice Harvester duration per level.


Those skills are use to pilote the mining barges not to control the mining laser, that's why you don't find the bonus on the skill. It's the same way with most of spaceship commande skill.

That's a old description (pre-Aug)

The current Mack reads

Role Bonus:
50% bonus to Strip Miner yield

Yeah, I was on the official wiki.... it's sad to said but it's not up to date :(

Covetor:

Mining Barge skill bonus per level:
4% bonus to Strip Miner yield
3% reduction in Ice Harvester duration

Hulk:

Mining Barge skill bonus per level:
3% bonus to Strip Miner yield
5% bonus to all shield resistances

Exhumer skill bonus per level:
3% bonus to Strip Miner yield
4% reduction in Ice Harvester duration

With Mining Barge V and Exhumers V the Covetor gets +20% yield on strips or -15% duration on Ice. Hulk gets +30% yield on strips or -20% duration on Ice.
