Looking for a new agent; a question

I have found an ideal agent I'd like to use, but the problem is the system is 2 jumps from Low-sec. How often do missions send you more than 2 jumps? It is not the only system 2 jumps away, so I am THINKING I would be able to get around this just by declining every so often. Everything else about the agent'/system is pretty much exactly what I was looking for, so I am really hoping 2 jumps from low-sec isnt too much of a problem.

Two hops away should be pretty safe. If the low sec system is in the same constellation though, you may occasionally get missions there. For best results, try to have more than one agent nearby to draw missions from to improve your chances of getting one you want.

If you are that close to low sec though, you may want to also train for cloaky explorer type ships so you can plunder those sites when the missions offered are poor and you need more of a challenge.

Heh, I've got the skills for most subcaps anyway. Hell, depending on the mission, I could just move a scout to the low sec and run it anyway >.> Thanks for the reply!

I would say that maybe 5% of my missions required more than 1 jump. If being close to border with lowsec isn't a factor in randomizing place of mission - and I honestly have no idea how they implemented placing missions, didn't even thought about googling it before - you should be pretty safe. And even if you will decline two missions in a row it's not so devastating for your standings. I remember at one time I declined 4 of them in a row and recovered my standings within few hours.

1 thing I would keep in mind is watching your d-scan when doing mission in a system adjacent to lowsec. Some lowsec crew may take interest in your shiny ships and initiate a little scan and gank. Chances for it are relatively small but it is Eve :)
