I have watched every match and enjoyed the commentary very much overall. But...

The bromance you guys have with your mega-alliance buddies is getting silly.

Just because you guys have never heard of anyone not associated with a null-sec horde, does not mean that the rest of us suffer from your tunnel vision. Many of the pilots on these other teams have already established reputations as fantastic pilots in the harshest PvP environments in the game. They were Eve "stars" before you guys had ever dreamed of this tournament. Yes, I know, you have never heard of them, but if you look closely at your loss mails you will no-doubt find their names there. This might jog your memory:

Remember that time those five guys came through and killed you and your twenty friends? Remember how you called up a couple hundred of your bros (including some of the "elite" guys on your favorite tournament teams) to try and hunt them down, but you never could find them? I know, I know, it's probably hard to pin it down to just one time...

Anyway, those teams you are calling underdogs? That's them. The same guys who made you cry when you were hiding out in null playing King of Carebears.

So here's some thoughts going forward:

If you want a tournament that favors your mega alliance broskis you have to make the teams much bigger and the tournament more expensive. Make it thirty on thirty. Or better still, go back to calling it the "Alliance Tournament" and base the number of players allowed on the field to the number of members in the alliance. So, for example, your alliance of "Eve-Superstars" could have fifty guys while these no-account low-sec slum dwellers are limited to perhaps two or three. Considering doing the same with the isk allowed on the field. This provides a few advantages: it's a more accurate reflection of how the game actually functions; it will allow your favorite teams to flourish; and it will you guys more opportunities to talk about your bros (and we all know you love that).

If, however, you are looking for the best PvP pilots in the game (and I am damn sure not one of them) you need to lower the cost of admission to something non-blobs can afford, and shut the hell up about your special snowflake brothers out in null.

In conclusion: All of the above was meant somewhat tongue in cheek. The key word there being somewhat. Like I said in the beginning, I think you guys have done a fantastic job with this so far and I have enjoyed watching it tremendously.

In a quick response, I would like to say that Arydanika, in conjunction with Wunder-bet has been running team spotlight interviews to help bring some of these unknown teams and pilots into the limelight. I have also noticed, that many of these unknown teams have chosen not to participate in this.

If these people want their 15 minutes of fame there are plenty of ways for them to achieve that. Do you seriously expect the commentators to spend hours trying to research the personal history of every pilot ?

I'm sorry but it sounds like you don't understand the "star" concept, Raivi and Michael Bolton both used to be very hardcore eve players, very well informed, so if these guys were EVE celebrities they would've heard of them for sure, neither has been at CCP long enough to be out of touch on that kind of thing.

Uhhh I guess you hadn't noticed they really want the underdog teams to win and are in fact constantly rooting for them ?
Sure they predict the people they've heard of win the match, but that doesn't mean they want them to.
Most of that paragraph was idiotic so I guess this is the tongue in cheek part?

I'm all for lowering the cost of admission, but claiming you have to have a blob behind you to be able to easily afford 6 bil is ridiculous.

Your loyalty to your buddies is admirable! The next time you are in Iceland discussing what game changes your alliance prefers I'm sure Raivi and Michael (probably just Mike to you) will buy you a beer.

Is that you Mitt Romney? Beggin' your pardon guv'nor, but six billion is an unimaginable amount of money here in the gutter. Gentlemen and Ladies such as yourself might use gold plated Tengus to wipe your bottoms -- you might even have servants to do your wiping for you -- but down here we kick sewer rats out of the way for scraps of mouldy bread. Six billion? Might as well be six trillion!

Please take your uninformed trolling and flaming to another forum section please. All you are doing here is making yourself look pathetic and ignorant.
