Hydrogen Batteries are used in the manufacture of T2 Shield Extenders, which are a vital part of the game.

Like Electronic Parts, they are only available from NPC vendors. They should be added to the player-produced economy as part of the drive to eliminate NPC-produced goods from the game.

given that you are talking about a few new recipes, this should be feasible as a first tier manufactured good (so on par with mechanical parts, enriched uranium, and construction blocks).

Eh no actually.
In fact there should be more npc only goods to help act as ISK sinks.

Anything that reduces the NPC market and reinforces the player driven economy is all good in my eyes.

As for isk sinks, there are a lot already. Sales taxes, ammo expenditure, manufacturing installation fees, office rental fees, alliance maintenance fees, POS fuel expenditure, refinery and manufacturing wastage and ships blowing up, to name but a few.

Get everything to.the point where its made.by players. Data sheets, command centres for PI, even BPO's!

+1 to the OP.
