Eveskunk is doing nothing illegal or against the rules. It's the same process you all use to have EveMon pull your stats, implants, current wallet balance, contracts, market transactions, and (yes) your mail. (EveMon CAN see new messages)

Or any of the similar previous posts.

This is not correct. The emails, regardless of how they are obtained are the intellectual property of the author.
Posting them breaches laws in just about every country in the world, Digital Millennium, RIP act, DPA.

Just saying.

what does that mean, anyway? Be nice to that spoiled brat who might give your api key to the whole world? And the smugness of those who are doing all this for our own good, to teach us better security. More thugs. More ways to bully. More ways to betray. Congratulations to the scum, really. You're making a paradise for yourselves.

No you idiot you remove him from your corp/alliance if he is a spoiled brat who is a security risk. Really this stuff is easy to understand if you just stop whining for a second. Nobody got hacked, they gave up their information willingly or lost it fair and square. This place is a paradise, just not for people as squishy and pink as you.

It breaks no laws, and the contents of an EvE-Mail (not e-mails) is the property of CCP. Theres a bit about it in the contract you digitally signed when you created your account. Intelectual property rights mean absolutely squat when you sign a legally binding document that waives them. Stop trying to sound clever.

EDIT : jus sayinStraight
