Just got back after years away from the game and I'm sitting here in my Golem in Caldari space thinking maybe I should be somewhere else? I remeber when I left, Amarr space was kind of the best for missioning. Is it still so? I've been trying to google it but haven't seen any real answer out there. Is there any agent/space that I simply must work for? :)

Also, been considering training for a Mach. Am I wasting my time since I already fly a Golem?

It won't be the answer you wish to hear, but what about doing what you'd enjoy instead of asking people what you must do ?
Maybe join a corpo to learn something new than just missionning ? For example you could join a WH corpo, or Incursions, well, something new ?

Edit : Also, agents' quality has disappeard, nowadays they all are the same at a given level.

Already ahead of you, I'm joining a corp this week, but I still want to do missions on the side :)

edit: Any easy way of doing incurions, like a WTG-chat or anything like that? :)

regaring missions:
with the agent qualities gone, agent selection options have widened quite a bit. currently, the consensus seems to be that missioniing in minmatar space is a good idea; angels have no annoying ewar and relatively good loot and salvage.

as for incursions:
take a look at ISN and TVP, their public channels should not be very hard to find.

I should buy an Ishtar.

Thank you :) Any ship recommendation for minmatar space? I kinda like the Mach and the Nightmare :)

mach all the way. the nightmare is very very good in amarr space, but the mach is king against angels, plus it's faster and more agile.

I should buy an Ishtar.

Just thought I'd mention Epic Arcs, Cosmos and other Event Agents.
